OK, I don't know if it's been discussed before, but I find it really frustartaing that the "winning entries" box on my.ddo.com doesn't work for me, like, at all. And from what I've read and heard, there are others in my position. Now, the most ideal solution would be to just make it work right, but, let's face it, that's not gonna happen. So I've been thinking on it, and the next best thing that would make me really happy would be a utility that lets me check if my characters have mail without having to actually log in on them.

As it stands, I have a boatload of alts, and I like to hit the select all button for lotteries. However, the borked winning entires box means that if I really want to check for winnings, I have to log onto each and every character to see if they've won anything. This is a real hassle, especially since I suffer from character hopping work-mucking (the more I hop characters, the worse my client performs until it finally crashes).

So I think something that would make life in DDO much more pleasant would be to see whether or not a character has something sitting in their mailbox. I'm not necessarily saying that you should be ablke to open, read, and collect things from mail, but just see if there's something there. And the more I think about it, the more useful it could be for others, as well.

I don't know how others would feel about this, the work involved in actually implementing something like this in the current set-up of the game, or anything, but I definitely think it's something to consider. What do other people think?
