Cutthroat's blade still worth it?

I have a tier 1 lvl 20 on my DEX/INT rogue. Was wondering if I should bother upgrading it to tier 3. There aren't many other options for 6% doublestrike and the corrosive salt is nice.

If you don't have doublestrike slotted elsewhere, is this weapon competitive with current end-game weapons?

I keep it around as sneak gear. It's decent as an offhand if you indeed use it mainly considering the double strike for sneak attack dmg and double/tripple assassinate proc. In and of itself it's not great.

Sure it is...is it the best? No...that would be the raid SS but it is a nice sword and worth the grind IMHO. The crit profile is also a nice addition along with a red slot that gives 1-8 elemental damage now.

if you have access to the challenges, get the rapier of air for the main hand and small blade in the off hand. the rapier procs blindness like crazy and works really well with doublestirke+sneak attack.

Wouldn't than be better to have rapier of air in both hands to have more blindness proc chances (maybe OTWF problem)?
