DDO does not launch after logging in.

Hello everyone!

I just reinstalled my computer to a Wi7 64x version and was glad once DDO finished downloading cause I just bought the MOTU expansion pack & couldn't wait to try it out.

Well now, everything is installed but once I type my username & password, a black window opens (which should lead to character selection screen) but it stays black & than it closes. No error report or anything.

I tried reinstalling ddo, updating drivers but I dunno what else I should try.

Any tips/help?

Just fixed it thx anyway

I had this problem on my XP machine, tried all the firewall things, but only have the one.

So go in to the launcher, above your user name you have the buttons - Language - Access launcher menu - switch to compact mode - minimize - close.

click Access launcher menu and select options
Click the repair tab
Tick the box - Reset the game display settings
Then click ok
Sign in

That cured mine.
