Voice of the master: Augment

I just think the voice is screaming to be an augment.

It kind of lives in many peoples trinket slot and that's not exactly in line with the whole many choices for every slot ethos. Augmentation would let you slot it in more places.

Just don't break DM's vision

Opinions may vary, if they didn't life would be dull, but that's mine.

If I remember correct there were a contest about 2 new epic items (in a donation event). The voice had won it, but have not noticed that new item.

True, I can replace it with many neat trinkets but the boost to optional xp sorta causes me to have it equiped constantly. Blue slot would be nice.

actually last year there was a contest (following a charity event) where people would vote which item should get an upgrade and voice master won (with the mantle also) so they promised themselves to it there is only no date linked to that promise.

I haven't met a single person yet who runs withe the VotM in their slot all the time. Everyone slots it right before finishing the quest or hitting an XP goal.

If what you say is true, then that just means a lot of folks are wasting their trinket slot.

I walk with Voice equipped all the time. I have a problem of remembering to equip it only after the XP hits, so I keep it on all the time. I could use mantle instead, but I have more cloaks that I like to use than trinkets (Mirror cloak is awesome up to level 8 or so, then the new cloak of invisibility with resistance +X, then Mabar).

Why colorless? Those are a dime a dozen and you can only slot stat boost crystals into them. Put a green, or better yet, a green and a yellow, on it.

Make it colorless so you can slot it into any augment slot type.

If you have the patience and memory to equip it before every optional xp hit (von 3 nameds for example) i salute you.

Most people don't and thus keep it equipped to benefit from those, equipping it at the end of the quest leaves you with tons of xp lost at the end of a life due to optional xp.

Nice concept, but I fear it's both too creative and makes too much sense for the devs to ever do it.
