So you go for Lies first? My EE run (was on the test server, haven't had time to try on live yet) took down Silence first because the discoballs were obliterating us.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

95% of the runs EH and this one EE we have taken out Lies 1st and from personal experiance I did not see 1 disco, but I was ranged so not in close

Well a few disco balls made it through since I brilliantly forgot 33% absorp and only hand sheath but for the most part I just used gust of wind, 3sp to blow out and less annoying to target than break enchantment. When I was dead I believe someone was breaking the disco balls tho.

Oh, and I did bug report the chest.

This might not yet be common knowledge on your server, but taking down the pairs in the order Lies, Confusion, (crystal), Silence lets you avoid the undead dragons from spawning. I've personally never seen these undead dragons but they're listed on the wiki and I heard that they spawn if you do the pairs in the wrong order.

If you use the featherfall-sneak trick the Lies dragon *should* be the first one to aggro you anyway.

Note sure about what you said but I heard as long as u take 2 pairs(any order) then crysal before last pair u do not get the undead

I saw this too. I think clerics have to be real careful about when to have their aura up, because you don't want to pull lots of aggro on one of these things.

Norg, thanks for that ring of the djinn you gave me long ago. That and energy sheath/eletrical are almost essential for ee for healbots.

The only time I got zapped was when I killed a spirit (an air elly one) in melee. After that I started using a thrower to kill them and I didn't get hit again. That leads me to the theory that they only zap as they die (which would make sense with the name catharsis) and it only hits those nearby.

Truthful one (and the other dragons) seem pretty easy to kite. They are all slowish and their breath attacks appear to require them to stop to fire. The truthful one has a fireball with range, but its super easy to dodge if you focus on that. His pounce attack is the only thing to really worry about, otherwise I've seen gelatinous cubes "run" faster.

At some point or another every person in the party proved their worth, and every person made mistakes. Some people noticed some and were vocal about it, some people noticed and aren't the vocal type. Squabbling over who gets the "game ball" / dragons skull kinda spoils the team effort put in.

And overlooks where we properly should focus praise, which is on the Turbine team for this wonderful gift of a team-oriented raid. This raid lets people play out all sorts of creative ideas with their epic destinies amd stretch their play.

That said, PJ, there are people who are modest and don't toot their own horns and play their class brilliantly, and for you on a barb to be doing what you were doing and require so little help and die so little was just an honor to watch. I learn just watching you and it is an honor to guild with you. It is just fun to watch you play.

If anyone failed to see how well lots of people played, and failed to take joy in that, well, they missed out on a big part of the fun on this and I am sad for them. Much much more than LOB, and more than citw, this one is all about the team. Honestly, if we had wiped, it still would have been almost as much fun, because it was so team-y.

Epic gianthold and this quest in particular is so perfect that the empty bugged chest at the end leaves no bitter taste with me. Yeah, they should fix the chest. But it is raids like this, and team-oriented people who tackle 'em, playing each to their class strength, not those bright shiney objects, which make this game.

Default pretty sure this is the case

I am pretty sure this is the case I watched them hit me...then looked at combat log and the electric trap damage was the only thing showing....

    Default We tried it

We tried this the other day in Norg's group a day or two before he completed it. No, they came right at us and from what i could tell everyone was hugging wall, camo'd, invis, in sneak mode. Did not seem to work they all came to bring the chaos!!!

Weird cause I got some pm's from some people saying that it did still work and was easy to pull the first pair without aggro. Guess someone else will have to verify. Thanks for info!

I am unsure that invis does anything just placement of the party. Have had varying success pulling between 1 and 3 red names with and without more testing needed. If you stand right against the wall you can get nudged a little forward by the lip created when the floor falls standing 1 step away from wall and then reversing has worked at least once but that was on EH.

-spawn screen seems to help, it wont eliminate all the wraiths but limits the extra you get from player deaths.

-As Nancy mentioned, enlarged is pretty sweet in this raid I grabbed it on my wiz as well.

-gust of wind owns dancing balls

-order of dragons doesnt matter as long as you do 2-cystal-1 to avoid undead dragons. depends on what effects you want to get rid of first, ive always left lies for last but I might try it first if it reduces some of the electrical dmg output.
