In "that other lag thread," someone put forth that these performance issues may be world server related.

Yea same, game-stopping lag. Was stuck in House C, along with everyone else in the zone for a good 15+ min, then gave up and logged out.

Broken game is broken.. Glad there is another neverwinter beta weekend coming up.

Default yeah getting tired of all this BS in general

Shade last time you mentioned Neverwinter I kinda scolded you. This time I think you have a good point. It has gotten ridiculous:

Everyone knows the 49/50 instances are an issue, yet nothing is done. Von5 today was like a slide show. I mean games are not very fun in slide show mode. Something is seriously broken in the house of cards of code here.

The "known issues" page for any release is getting close to orders of magnitude larger than "release notes". BTW that's only "known issues" that are acknowledged!

The changes post 17.1 to FoT mechanics are a good thing in principle. What's not good is that the mechanics were addressed but NOT the much bigger problem of lag. Prior to U17.1 the biggest chance of a wipe was lag. The lag issue should of been addressed first then the mechanics, or both at the same time at least. Now its "take your roll with the lag" just as before but under a much more challenging setting.

The undocumented change to invisibility spell (or mob listen skills, whatever you want to call it) is also incredibly annoying at low levels. Why not document it? Why deny that it was intentional? Dungeon alert in heroic level quests is one of the most irritating mechanics of this game, and it just got worse. Combine that with the lag issue and it is just silly to call it a "game". A better name might be Dungeon Alert & Dragon Size Lag Online. Instead of making a change to make invisibility practically useless, just get rid of the spell and replace it with something useful. An undocumented change is pretty insulting.
