Can anyone get confirmation that these work/do not work together?

I have read that Dance of Flowers is not working with Zen Archery, but can't find anything on Whirling Steel. I tested it with handwraps and it was easy to tell in in your inventory screen by looking at the "Details" description with your handwraps equipped and switching destinies. I tried the same thing with shortswords & longswords (I am a Ninja Spy), which are both ki weapons for me and I am centered. I didn't notice a change.
