A Sfl hat with 15 concentration or whatever can be made in cove. And if you put the kobold buff on it as well you can make good use of it in most house c challenges.

I think you misread what he meant, as that is possible. He's using cannith crafting to put greater false life onto a large guild augment slotted ring, meaning he's not using the new augment system at all, but making a dedicated item for it instead.

You're right, I whiffed on that one, read it as Cannith challenges instead of crafting.

This, with Crystal Cove up now, buy one of the DDO store hats (stays bound to account), then slot Superior False Life and something else useful (balance +15 perhaps), then you have an BTA Kobold miner buffing hat (I put haste on mine), that can be useful to any possible character you ever decide to make.

Oh! I hadn't realized that the store-bought versions of the hats bound to account! I was planning on just getting each of my character a hat with SFL. Getting the store hat makes things much more efficient!Thank you, for the tip!

Simply put, no we did not. Most of the player base does not visit the forums, and it's poor thinking to make your statements on the assumption that they do.

OP, I have mine on a crafted blindness immunity ring (no ToD rings for my monk atm). Good luck finding an alternate option.

I'm pretty sure the cheapest one has the same strength buffs as the dearer one's too, which just increase your dubloon intake. May want to check that though, but I'm sure I just used a Swabby's Kerchief.

I doubt your missing much of anything.

For me, saying the Sun Soul set sucks is like saying 2+2=4. It took me about a minute to discount ever using that set the first time my monk hit the trader in Eveningstar. And I wanted to like it, I really did.

With Update 17, there are apparently quite a few named and randomly generated items, out there, that have either blue or green slots. In addition, I was handily reminded that the fully upgraded Epic Spare Hand also comes with a blue augment slot, and in many cases, it's more useful than the belt from the Sun Soul set. And with Crystal Cove back, I can craft a pirate hat with Superior False Life on it. (In fact, I was told that, if I purchased the DDOStore version of the hat, it binds to account and stays bound to account, when upgraded, so I can have a head item with Superior False Life available for any of my toons. Very handy tip!) Finally, Cannith crafting will also allow for the creation of items (rings, at least) with GFL. So there are plenty of options, and I'm glad! Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer my questions! I really do appreciate it!
I also learned the bolded stuff! Great.

Close to tears for this? really! I mean hell what would you do if you where being car jacked, curl up and weep like an infant? How about mugged with a gun held to your head and told if you move your dead? I mean people trip out on me for comparing in game social abuse metaphorically with things like slavery, yet people dont think getting close to tears over a game changing something with much forwarning that even in game in a handful of pugs ive joined the last month people where talking about this upcoming change.

In my mind it would be like crying for finding out your county has decided to put flouride in the water or that your favorite diner wont carry real sugar anymore.
Can't you fathom nor empathize with someone being close to tears over a movie either? The death of a non-excisting movie character is unlikely to impact your life in any way. Of course it's not really important if I have a certain item or not, but I like to pretend it is. It's called 'playing'.
I only feel slightly envious towards someone who can get so emerged in the game that it allows them to experience such intense joy and despair.
