I agree with everything you have said here, except maybe for CK if cetuss and az are in a group together to much hairpulling most of the time I wish they would just get a room and confess their undying love for each other.

Certain players from IA are also amazing (and I do mean IA and not CK)

I have seen a number of great guilds at endgame. I don't do TRing much and when I do, I usually just shortman with guildies.

Synergia is probably the best in my opinion. They don't seem to PUG much, but when they do, I know that they will contribute a great deal to completion regardless of their role. And many of their players can fill many rolls with the same toon.

Evocati I like not so much because they are the best (large guild with both experienced and inexperienced players), but because their players are just good people to be around. Good humor, friendly to chat with, and don't take the game too seriously. If something goes wrong, I don't see them rage-quitting or complaining. They take everything in stride. In a game which I play to relax and have fun, having companions like that is great.

Chaos Knights seem solid. I know several of them very well (partly because they used to be in my guild). They can be a little hard core, which isn't necessarily bad, but I never seem to be on as strict a schedule as they are. Nevertheless they know their stuff so I never have qualms about taking them into my groups.

I like Order of the Silver Dragons for much the same reason I like Evocati. Good people to play with.

Yeah I'm not a fan of guilds ( the evocati) where the guild leader harasses women and certain members are know to 'put on shows' for the phat lewtz when there hubbie isn't around....

What the hell?

I've run with you plenty Soul, and I have a high opinion of Ascent, y'all are uniformly solid players and good folks, and it has been a pleasure. You even have some superb players (looking at you Brenna), and I got inspired to do my old pre-U14 epic melee soloing saga by Ungoliant a while back, when I saw him do some interesting things. But we also have superb players. I don't have the time to play as much these days, but I've pugged/channeled fairly extensively and recognize all but one name in this thread, and I can say with great confidence that we have a half-dozen players who are every bit as strong as the best of the server.

More to the point, every single person in the guild is both competent and a pleasant person to group with (yours truly would be the only ass of the bunch) , which is a rarity in an MMO. Not all are rockstars, but since when is that necessary. I like my guild, and I won't have you denigrate it.

As an aside to Couch, I'm pretty disappointed. You were in Evocati for a while, and it was great to have you. We left on good terms, so I thought, and I've been pleased to catch you around now and then in the months afterwards. I know that I have personally taught you a great deal about the game, and I suspect others in guild did too. To see you pile on isn't pleasant.



And now on a brighter note, it's a crime that no one has mentioned Truth Seekers. Temp is a great guy, and their runs are always fun.

Not sure what this refers to either. I am not the leader of The Evocati, and never have been. In fact, we havent had a leader for around 6 months now (he left the game, and we've been enjoying the un-monarchy).


As to the second part, I suspect I know who you are referring to here. She has not been part of the guild for some time now either, for a variety of reasons.

More to the point, if you have some sort of issue, feel free to contact me ingame, and at least get your facts straight. Spouting nonsense on the forums makes everyone look bad.

Yes I was and yes "we" left on good terms Dog. sorry if I offended u for thinkin what Soul said was funny buut theres alot of stuff you dont know and never cared to know about what goes on behind the scenes of Evocati

edit- and yes Dog, you did teach me a little here & there (abbot) but for the most part i tried to teach the guild epic raids.... who are the "others" u speak of that taught me something i didnt already know :shrugs:
