    Default Toughness Augment Idea

Maybe this would be an ideal named augment that could drop in Tempest Spine. It's the first raid everyone likes to go to and have fun. It increases the chance of circulating something out there that in many people's eyes is a MUST have property in their equipment list. What you think?

It doesn't seem like a good idea to make something that's "a must" SO easy to get. It just doesn't feel right. Also, I'm guessing that Toughness is going to be AT LEAST a level 16 augment (could be wrong, just guesisng) which if that does end up being the case, would make no sense to drop in a level 10 raid.

With that said, I still think they should make an epic version of Tempest's Spine

Why would it be L16? It is only one componant of a L11 named item which would seem to indicate it should be more like a L8-12 augment.

Feather_of_Sun already said that it's ML12, and will drop "in the vicinity of the orchard".

Sounds like you'll be running Abbot to get it... so Wish Granted.

Minos Legens is kinda OP though ... almost every class and build uses it (unless they have Min2 GS) or used to (before Cannith crafting).

The second item with toughness are the Tharaak bracers ml 15.

The other items with toughness are all 20+.

There is little reason for it to become ml 8.

Yes, and those L15 items also have other things on them.

Isn't the lootgen toughness a +6 enhancement meaning L13 random lootgen toughness?

There you go, that makes sense then compared to lootgen.

Like I said, I was just speculating. Just because it's on a ML11 item doesn't mean it should be an augment of the same level that you can slot as needed. Plus, as was already mentioned, Minos is OP. Notice that it was the only item from tapestry turn-ins that isnt going to be updated with u17. It's already way ahead of it's level -- that's why pretty much EVERYONE has one. There's not really anything else that comes with toughness till much later. That's why I figure the aug would be slightly higher. But looks like it's planned to be ML12. If that's the case, I'm fine with that.

I would GLADLY run Abbot for it! I love that raid, I just don't have any need to run it anymore. So I miss the good ole days and would love to have a new reason to run it.
