Isn't that a bit redundant with this one from a few weeks ago? :

I think this older shot is a fine depiction of an emotional celebration from a Blockade run and is quite well done, however, I think the new shot really taps into the melancholy of a people desperately holding onto a way of life and hope in the face of overwhelming odds. It is a much deeper statement and packs a far bigger emotional punch.

I wonder if the artist who took this shot had just watched "Beasts of the Southern Wild"

Shouldn't the screenshot of the week just be a blank page?

All submissions (past and present) and narrowed down to a group of contenders for a given week, then sent around to a panel of judges that includes DDO team folks, community folks, and others. The one that gets the most votes wins. Non-winners are kept for consideration in future weeks.

I guess I know where I'll be doing some screenshots if I want to maximize my win chances Next stop, blockade buster.

Maybe screenshots too similar to ones that have already won should be filtered out during this "narrowing down" then... As others have pointed out, it's the 3rd time we get basically the same one in a short period of time.
Are people sending screenshots out of ideas ?

I still belive in the Five stiff shots, a blindfold and a dart board method...

jokes aside, DDO is a great action game and it is sad that you can count on your fingers how many action screenshots we have in the galery... i really don't belive that week after week you guys don't receive at least one between the contenders.

Not to mention all the similar screenshots...
