Yeah i only searched a few pages in.

obvious answer would be someday they will be expanded but at current end game i dont see a real point to going past 5th unless its your primary ed and you want those APs.

Correct

In some cases people may get fancy and pick more than 1 "primary" that they switch between, or to just try them out (like I tried full ranks in both Draconic and Magister on my Sorc before moving on) but that's about it as far as I can see.

I think he means ED AP points 21-24. Just barely hitting rank 5 will get you the fate points.

Yeah, i thought capping the ED will max your fate points in total. IDK, only thing that came to mind. I understand what the OP was saying about ED APs, but the other reason i thought of capping a ED was for FP.

I have just recently gotten to a minimum of 4 Levels in each ED with only my primary having not only 5 Levels but MAX XP. I am currently picking EDs to level to 5 as I want to. This is to work towards maximum Fate Points which the Last 4 points don't help with. However, unless you need the points to unlock a twistable item at its max potential there really isn't much reason to get the last 4 points outside of:

1) Getting ready for more ED Levels
2) Just Because

You get 1 fate point per 3 ED levels. You hit L5 at 1.5million XP; the
480,000 xp to get the final 4 AP do nothing for you in terms of FP.
