Default best passive past lives for a rogue?

I am NOT going for completionist but I am considering a few past lives to get to a 36 point build and add a little to my rogue.

So what passive past lives are best? I doubt I will have room for any of the active past life feats. Final build will be a pure rogue.

Fighter does not seem so good as bonus to hit does not seem very important any more.

Paladin for the healing amp could be nice.

Barbarian for the extra hit points, but my current second life rogue has 600 hit points, so a few more although helpful does not seem like a huge deal.

What other ones should I consider? And why?

Rogue - passive and active are both good. Especially the active - work that feat in if at all possible.

The rog passive life is still nice to have. I know you said you most likely have room for an active, but the rog active is so sweet.

Pally for the healing amp is never a bad thing.

The 10 hp isn't worth the hell of doing a Barb life.

Arti isn't bad for the umd.

Doesn't fighter passive also give bonus to tactics? or is that the active? If passive, then it could be nice for trip/stunning blow(if you take it)
    Bhask the Unseen 21 Rog(tr 3), Tangoh 15 Barb(tr life 3),Domand d'Jorasco 18/2(tr4 )sorc/paly BF, Nilock 20(tr life 3), Domandi 20/8 1st life shuriken thrower.

    Rogue (obviously)
    Pally
Arti - especially if you're using UMD a lot
Barb - I know everyone hates to play them, but they can be multiclassed. I play a fighter bard to 15, then add barb levels. Then a lr +5 to remove 5 levels of bard and replace them with barb. Tadah! Instant barb life without all the pain. And the fighter bard does almost as much dps while being able to heal, UMD, CC, and just generally being a lot more useful and survivable. And 30hp is 30hp. I think it's worth doing as rogue can often use any and all extra hp and if you like to TR and you can make playing the barb lives fun.
Ranger - for a little ranged boost, may not need depending on goals.
Monk - Not really worth 3 lives for +3 damage, but if you like playing them, why not?

Barbarian active past life is very nice if you TR again. It provides toughness, but you get the 20 HP immediately. I take it always. Together with the passive 10 HP it helps a lot at low levels.

In addition you get 1 rage which stacks with pots and the barb rage.
And if you have Barb levels you get 1 extra Barb Rage.

If you plan multiple melee lifes it's really worth to have it.

adding to the arti recommendation, especially if you do 3. +3 all int skills and UMD. If nothing else that can free-up some build points that might have had gone to int or cha...no idea what your goal is, but there it is.

    Rogue, monk, arti. First choices.

If you are going for a repeater mechanic build ranger PLs are nice.

Barb and pally are kinda generic past lives that are weak in general but have universal appeal.

Too bad the + to int skills does not help assassinate.

This rogue is an Assassin build and will stay an assassin. I had not really considered Arti since I do not own it, but I guess I could work toward unlocking it.

    Rogue, obviously.

Pally and barb are useful to every toon. Unless you enjoy TR'ing you may not think the small gains are worth the trouble. I decided to go for it, and made a multiclass toon that could dps and self heal to 15, then barb to 18, bank to 20 where you take the last 2 levels barb. Then a +5 LR to change 5 levels of whatever to barb, and you've go a barb pl without all the problems!

Monk is nice for the +!, but again not really a big deal.

Ranger if you're planning on using ranged weapons as a primary.

Arti is useful if you're going to take full advantage of UMD. The +1 to intel skills is probably not going to be needed with an assassin as you'll have points out the wazoo. But it will give you a bonus above and beyond what you can conceivably get otherwise, so that could make gearing a little easier.

It depends a lot on how much you enjoy TR'ing. Not much? Get at least one rogue, and maybe ranger or arti depending on flavor. If you can handle TR'ing a few more lives, get barb and pally first as they make other TR lives a breeze. Then work on specialties.

But you can make a badass first life assassin. No doubt about that!

I already have 1 past life as a rogue. And was thinking to do another to make him a36 point build and then another to get back to rogue or do the LR +5 a few times
