Prismatic Ray/Spray

I somewhere got it into my head that Prismatic Ray/Spray were boosted by Force line Enhancements/Items, but now I can't find anything to support that notion. Are they or aren't they?

Wiki only mentions the energy typed rays being able to boost the potential of the spell, but doesn't mention whether banishment or being turned to stone are untyped damage that fit the bill for Force Enhancements (I assume being feared doesn't count as damage unless you take into account all the mobs the feared one will bring back to you... and that damage is on you ).

EDIT: An entry in the Compendium mentions force being enhanced in an example given, but the wiki entry seems to have been edited from that initial write-up.
