Hmm, DDO wiki lists these as Bind to character on equip... is this the case if they are not taken as the end reward? If so, what are the going rates for these things?

they are BTCoE. ppl put them on AH for around 1 mil on thelanis. to me its not worth the plat. but im frugal and nothing is worth 1 mil. i do have a pair and they are awesomness without a doubt and u wont be disappointed. just up to you what u want to spend.
The version you pull from the chest is BTCoE. The end reward version is BTC. If I am not mistaken, this is true for all of the loot in the 3 chain story leading to Caught in the Web.

^This.
Quest chest drops are BTCoE
Chain end reward is BTCoA
Run 4 quests for a chance to get a BTCoA item only for the toon you are on..
or run 1 quest to get a BTCoE one you can give to anyone whenever you want or even trade for something you want...
Seems silly to me that running the chain gives you a shot at a Bind to Character on acquire, so no chain runs to get an item for an alt, end list random choice is only for the toon that ran the chain....
and yet you can run the specific quest over and over and get a Bond to Character on Equip that you can then throw on the Auction House, Trade, Sell to whoever you want regardless of whether the receiver has ever run the quest, been to Eveningstar, or even purchased the expansion.

I have a set on my monk and I agree, they are awesome.
I have an extra set on a bank toon. I'd sell them for 1 million PP, if you are interested.

Just keep running chain 1 on norm on whichever character you want the wraps on. It's fast, easy, and there's a very good chance you will get them within 3 tries.
