WTS Old Stone Experience

Have an old (MOTU) stone of experience to sell/swap - you can't use if you have already used one, and won't work for druid levels etc. per - http://ddowiki.com/page/Stone_of_Experience . Mail Himbo in game, I will look over offers and go from there - I will post here if/when a trade completed.

Interested in items for my Sorcs:

EE Treads
Greater Spell Pen IX items (no or minor spell failure)
+6 Necro or Evoc sceptres (fire, ice or elec)
Anything else interesting for sorcs.

Or plat, or a combo.

EE Treads/+6 mastery is pretty unlikely to happen, unless you mean as part of a larger trade.

I've seen them go for not much less than an otto's as the benefit most are interested in is the lev 8>16 part (I think someone offered 5.5m pp on here not too long ago if you want to look back, I also saw your offer of a couple of frds when no one was sure if they worked or not as well). Shrug, it's up to people to decide what its worth to them at the end of the day and offer accordingly.

Sounds like you bought a few, but given only one use per account, not sure why? Unless you're hoping to stockpile and sell off for more than 1 frds later? ;-)

i offered and bought one stone (just stone) for 5.5m and then made another offer of same amount for entire ottos box, but those are new stones not old ones, old ones would go for 1 frds (if that) my guess as well happy trading.

You are 100% confusing new stones with old stones. I have only ever seen myself and zonixx make offers for old stones. Zonixx was higher than me, but being the Scrooge McDuck of Sarlona, he can make good offers on marginal things if he wants them. I even cut my offer in half and bought more than I wanted there were so many people wanting to sell to me.

Yes, please waste a 30% pot on something that doesn't work with old stones.

Hint: old stones are not new stones. I know this is a difficult concept, but I'm confident some can eventually grasp it.

Because you were using a new stone, an Otto's Box stone. Not an old stone, a MOTU stone. A new stone.

You can believe whatever you like, then. I've used a number of old stones in the past month, with and without XP pots. XP pots (and other XP bonuses save for maybe Build Your Guild) do not and to my knowledge never have affected XP gained from MOTU stones. Otto's stones were specifically changed to be affected by XP bonuses.
