It is viable, but I would tweak it a bit. complete lack of UMD is quite an odd limitation a completionist would put on themselves?

Also your enhancements have alot of fluff, but you are not taking advantage of all the huge human/monk synergies.
Drop: receptive earth, dif in beginning, eagle claw attack, the full fire stance line and rise of the ph.
Pick up: first tier water stance, unbalancing strike, human adap 4, grandmaster air/earth. much much more powerful.

I am confused about the level 3 saying Draconic Vitality. edit: nvm, saw the build page, just entered early. small detail. max jump, keep it at 40 Save some points(I say this but go over every time)

I am 2 lives away from doing a full monk again. I was thinking of maxing Wis since with +4 tomes all around and +2 from competionist, it should fill in the holes left by the expensive purchase.

Also will continue with helf. Extra feat is always nice, but heal scrolls just rock.

    Good luck!

I would recommend UMD for esp. Tenser´s scrolls...

I have taken UMD on my completionist monk, and I really like having access to scrolls of Heal, Raise Dead, Displacement, Teleport, Fireshield, and Tensers. However I am considering putting 0 points into UMD next time I TR.

I recently upgraded my gaming hardware with the result that I have much better split-second response time from the game. Getting this better response time has made melees a lot more fun to play. I can now react appropriately to fast moving enemies, rather than lagging a half-second behind where the server thinks the enemies are. This means that I can perform better on easy content and tackling harder content is a more viable possibility.

Now that my general lag is reduced, UMD lag (the lag that happens when my UMD score changes) is becoming more noticeable. Before the UMD lag was hidden in all the other sources of lag. My Cleric, my one character without UMD, can react noticeably better in fights where the enemies debuff skills.

I am not certain that the lag improvement will be enough to make up for the benefits of UMD but I do think it's worth trying for a life.
