    Default TWF Pali Feats

    Hi folks,

My current completionist project is on his Paladin life (I am trying to get the ones I think that will annoy me done early and this class probably qualifies). This particular build is using Bastard swords not Kopeshes which I know are the usual TWF favorite. I made that choice since I had quite a lot of really good Bastard swords available. Early on I did take OTWF but have gotten past level 12 where that made any difference really so I am going to swap it out but my debate is over do I want to swap it out for Power Attack, Precision, Combat Expertise or perhaps Cleave.

Feats at level 13 are currently: TWF, ITWF, EWP: Bastard Sword, IC: Slashing, PL: Barb (in place of toughness), OTWF

Currently I am using the HotD PrE and will swap to KotC for Vale and at 18 want to go for DoS. I planned to take either Extend or Maximize at 15 and the DoS feat at 18 (I am leaning towards Shield Mastery over say Combat Expertise).

    So any suggestions?

Power Attack, it's a prerequisite for cleave and I wouldn't take CE on a TWF build.
Now if you find yourself missing with PA on then check out Precision

If it is a Paladin with some version of Conn.... it is probably me.

I disagree take only cleave if you are going to take great cleave.

If you are only going for the 1 life then tr´ing at 20, I would splash it at least 1 fighter for more feats and haste boost.

Take maximize rather then extend for bigger heals.

I didn't say take cleave, I was pointing out that it isn't an option unless you take Power Attack first. PA is the best option of the 4 he asked about.

Ahhh I had forgotten about the PA pre-req for Cleave so that will be out. I am not going to splash the build to fit it in although I may take it at 21 if I get that far.

I am down to debating PA vs Precision for the most bang for my buck I think and at the moment PA is winning. I do like Precision on my rogue which has trouble with high fort enemies but would that be worth while on a Pali? I could only seeing that turned on during boss fights unlike PA which is an on all time unless I run in to hit issues and with Divine Favor I don't see that happening. (Plus I have a pair of Bastard swords I can slot the Guild accuracy crystal to put an extra +4 to hit should I think that's too much for a +9 to hit).

This is the second life for this toon and I have a long way to go on a completionist and my duoing partner and I are going to flesh out one ED per life just to keep things from being too boring along the way so I see getting this toon probably to level 21 or 22 before I pull the trigger and TR.

I've surprised myself and found this class hasn't annoyed me as much as I thought it would and it has not been the chore that leveling a Barb was to me. My reason for not splashing is that I do want to try the capstone and see just how useful or not it is.
