Leather armor class penalty changed to -1 after crafting

I have tried to submit tickets to turbine and I guess they do not value customers enough to respond. I am hoping someone can give some insight to this issue.

I crafted leather armor that had already been bound at the stone of change and had an armor kit on it. After disjunction, it is now showing like chain-mail with a Armor Class Penalty of -1. It is being used on a druid toon.

Only thing after crafting another piece of leather armor that was not bound and succeeded, I can only come to the conclusion that there is a bug when crafting previously bound armor.

If a GM reads over this, I am hoping to get credit for the armor kit so I can craft a usable piece of armor.

I have two theories: some unenchanted armors (which is what disjunction gives you) have a -1 ACP, but we usually don't realize this because we almost never see unenchanted and nonmasterwork armor drop. Did you try throwing a +1-+5 on it?

Second, in the armor overhaul there were some armors that were erased from existence, such as Studded Leather. It's conceivable that those armors when acted upon collapse into the Light Chain field. Do you remember if the set you had was literally Leather Armor or was it merely armor that was leather?

It was just regular leather armor. Only difference between the one that didn't work and the one that did was the one that is now showing a -1 was bound previously through the stone of change.
