    Default Weapon Effects Question

Hello - I have a question on some of the weapon effects when used in a dual-weilding setup.

I understand that most weapon special effects like elemental damage only apply to hits made with the weapon on which they are enchanted.

    1. Do special effects such as "vertigo", "shatter", and "stunning" only apply to hits made with THAT weapon, or would they apply to the character weilding the weapon, thus in a 2WF setup all his trip/sunder/stun attempts would recieve the bonus effect?

And 2. When said weapon is wielded in the offhand, do the stun/trip/sunder bonus effects only apply based on the percentage chance of offhand weapon procs?

    Thanks!

All on-hit weapon effects only apply to the weapon itself, with the lone exception of Doublestrike, which works on both hands.

This is why you see the huge popularity of items like the Bloodstone, Seal of Dun'Robar, etc...they give non-weapon sources for those effects, so it works on both hands and doesn't use up a modifier for a weapon.

For something like Stunning, where there is a bonus that goes beyond the on-hit effect, the +DC component will apply to all stunning blow attempts.
Kobold sentient jewel still hate you.
