Hello! I just wanted to let you know that I have turned on access to Smuggler's Rest. For the time being, the turn-in count for Treasure map pieces is extremely high. I will lower it in a couple of days.
Have fun!

Indeed! I would like to get some feedback about the changes to Smuggler's Rest before we toss Crystal Cove into the mix.
if you build up enough treasure map fragments in advance, you should be able to spawn CC, run the event, spawn it again, run the event, spawn it again, etc
i thought there was a post that stated that the loot was going to be able to be upgraded to epic lvls beyond lvl 20
only high lvl item in list is the lvl 24 runearm with 2 upgrades.. there are no other lvl24 varients
Hey, everyone!
If you're checking out Smuggler's Rest on Lamannia, you'll be able to see the most changes with a level 21-25 character! This will let you fight the brand-new enemies and rare bosses that can be found there. We'd love your feedback about these monsters!
Have fun, and I hope to see you for Friday's event!
Those spellcasters even hurt my pally - a very hard thing to do. Well done.
Drop rate of doubloons is much improved too, but please increase drop rate when you kill a boss - I got 5 and 7 silver doubloons respectively from bosses. Doesn't make it worth anyone's trouble to fight them when a lowly half-orc drops 44 at a time.
Really disappointed in the lack of tier 4 items though - no real reason for many people to do cove again without the chance of a further upgrade. I hope that changes before it goes live.
Interesting small changes.
The mobs were not that troublesome in the 30 odd minutes I spent running around the explorer area. I have a fairly well geared Melee Ranger12 / Druid7 / Fighter 1 / Epic5 character and i wasn't overly trouble by the mobs.
However, In that time though:
1. I didn't see any rare/red named spawns.
2. I didn't receive any of the chest maps for the random chests you can get.
The drop rate increases for dubloons was a very nice touch.
Bottomless Rum & Glass Cannon are interesting new items, particularly the Rum for any non-UMD character who wants a Heal & Restore clickie. Very handy.
1. Is the Rum intended to not be Exclusive? At 5,500 Dragonshards to max out one bottle, its expensive but worth the trouble for 1, personally. But there's crazy players out there that will grind the Cove into Dust to get as many of these as possible.
2. Low level Gems for the lower Rum tiers? I may have missed a barter option but I recall that you actually need to run the lower level Cove Challenges for the necessary gems. It's gonna put some of us end game players off having to mindlessly blaze away at low level Cove challenges for the gems necessary to make the Rum.
I also was a little disappointed to see no new upgrades for the older items.
Looking forward to testing out the new Cove challenge though - open the doors!
kind of surprised me that the hat's didn't get an augment slot as well.
Drop rate for treasure maps that give chests is really low. Will it be higher later in live? Can't yet test out the higher cove, the guide is not around. I am trying to get my toons up to test the cove. Thanks for bringing this in to test!
