I miss cheap holes...

What happened to the days when you could go to the AH and grab a collapsed portable hole for 50k? What's going on with this 180k plus business? I know you can get one with Argo favor, but sometimes I do get the coin lord favor before I am ready to tackle those quests.

Now they've leaped up in price - 180K is more than the lowest price on Cannith's AH atm for a Flawless Sib!

Well, I do have a stack of them on a mule some place (Yes, they stack!) However, I have not pulled one from a chest for quite a long time. The AH is based upon supply and demand. A stealth nerf to the drop rate?

And this is why I always take the portable hole from the argo favor, so that my next life has it stashed all ready and I don't have to spend a crazy amount of plat on one. : )

It is pretty odd that when you couldn't get a hole from Agent Favor you could pick one up for 20-40k somewhere and now that you can get one every life, they are worth many times their original value.

I have to agree that I have seen it drop less so than before, although it never dropped a whole ton to begin with. I get more hair dyes now though... that's something I guess :P

I just got one on an "Overgrowth" normal run. Was so surprised I did a double-take (should have taken a screen shot). The first one I have seen in over a year.

Gianthold seems to be the best area for Portable holes, I know on Sarlona if I see in General chat someone needs one i'll mail it out if I have some (with 23 alts I tend to always have some).

Frankly I never see them drop anymore. Often times the only one I get is from Argo favor. About a year ago I had 6 or so on a character, but used them all up on TRs. They definateliy don't seem to drop as much anymore.

I noticed they were getting a much more expensive on the AH on T-land.
Seemed odd to me as I feel they upped the drop rate, I've seen them drop a few time in the past couple months.

Heck I pulled one out of a smashed coffin breakable in the orchard a couple weeks back.
Last night I was lamenting a no twink toon of mine needing space that had the favor but no CPH. Did a favor clean up of depths and got one in my rewards list.
