    Default strange crash bug

i am having the strangest bug. if i log directly into a character there is a 99% chance it will crash on the wait loading.

but if i log into a fresh unmodified character on the beach first then log it out and switch i have a 80% chance of it loading.

if i try to switch toons without going to a unmodified character on the beach i have a 60% chance of a crash.

It's not just you, and it's not just on the beach. I've been having very similar issues for a while, but I don't crash - they manifest for me as failures to join UNLESS I log into a mule first, then switch characters.

It "feels" as if the character files on server-side for my main are in use and my client is not allowed to access them until it accesses another fileset first (releasing the exclusivity on the original character)?

For Turbine: When this occurs, Wireshark shows I am receiving a RST from your datacenter during the blue bar loading screen. When it loads correctly, I am not receiving the RST (of course).

    Huh. What's an RST?

I did at one point download Wireshark. But, I'm not sure that I had it setup properly. Perhaps I'll endeavor to do this again so that we can have some more concentrated feedback to give Turbine about their ailing game client and auth servers.
