New to the game and have a question about Dod

So been trying to get a DoD and have yet to pull one does anybody have one they are no longer wanting and want to trade or just to have somebody take it off there hands?

I pulled one of these from Cursed Crypt yesterday and after looking at it thought UH?

It's a +4 Docent! {Min Lvl 10}!

And someone in group immediately offered me 50k plat for it!

Improved Resists {even 3 of them on one item} are nothing these days!

Again I'll say - It's a +4 Docent! {The Blademark's from the Sentinel Chain is better!}.

It got a hidden effect of 20/- DR when you are hit coupled with a slow effect..it was unvaluable before EE, but it's still really useful for levelling, you are basically undestructable when defiance procs (and it procs quite often)

You can get 20 DR with DOD (trigger effect). Maybe not so good in today's end game, but still great for TRs.
Go and play toe2toe with the demon queen with it equipped and you'll see the difference compared to The Bladesmark docent.

OK so if this procs well I can see the worth somewhat.

The Gorgon Docent is far easier to get than DoD too.

DOD is really only useful when you take LOTS of melee hits (so the DR proc often) with low to moderate damage; it doesn't have much other usage as you've already noted.

A classic example is the demon queen, e.g. if you want to tank Lailat on heroic elite at level (both ADQ1 and 2)... lots of hits (both from Lailat and archers) where each hit in itself is not so much damage. Coupled with a bit of self healing and you're nearly invincible in such situations. There are many other similar fights where it can also be useful.

On epic elite it's quite worthless as 20 DR means almost nothing.
