    Default Lazy X-Beau (6F-6A-8Rog) and (1F-6A-13Rog) -- Builds for Lazy Crossbow Users :)

    The idea here is to be simply a repeater build -- and get away with it.

    You're someone's lazy x-boyfriend and you're only willing to do so much, and to get the next skirt you need fine trapping skills and evasion.

    Rogues tend to come across as lazy anyway, and when we see a rogue icon we tend to only expect that they will handle traps. But lo and behold, when a rogue tops the kill count or whips out a deadly flame turret, well then we are really impressed -- impressed like a SUKKA!

    Well, anyway, the basic idea here is that I *know* artificers are the best repeater build, so I'm a bit in denial, but I just can't get that Lazy X Beau out of my mind. I don't want to mix with AA, and I don't want to have to manage ki for 10k Stars, and God forbid I should have to juggle AA, 10k Stars, and Endless Fusillade on one of those Uzy builds. So here I am dialing my Lazy X Beau for another booty call . . .

    So here are a couple of builds that are for lazy x-beau users -- and that may just let you get away with it.

    I have been using a 6 arti/ 6 rogue as a basis for a TR project with the last 8 levels what ever past life I am going for at the time.

    I am considering going 6 arti/ 13 Rogue/ 1 fighter as my final life on this character. I like crossbows, not crazy about casters, but 6 arti gives me Rune arms and some useful spells (Insightful strike, Insightful damage and elemental damage).

    Rune Arms add a lot to crossbow damage. So far i am really enjoying it.

    I was planning on doing that as well. Tll I found that you can go 8 arti/4 rogue for all past life classes except Druid.

    This will give you 2 3rd level spells (insightful and flame turret) and a bonus feat. All you lose out on a one sneak attack die.

    Default Tasty combinations

    There are some interesting combinations that can happen when mixing rogue, artificer and <insert class) into a multiclass build. In heroic leveling up, there are a lot of fun combos.

    I myself have been repeater user on Bunks for a long long time. Lets say since '06. Always rogue of course till artificer came out. Then came the pure Artificer. with the enhancement changes, feat updates, gear and active feat alteration. There are now endless fun multiclass builds.

    I've been TRing Bunks through each life lately with a 4 Arti / 6 Rog / 10 <insert class) as I work toward completionist. Some have ended up as 4/7/9 but usually never more than 4 levels in Artificer. Honestly, the last level (lvl 20) sometimes didn't matter since I TR'd straight away.

    Why 4 levels of Artificer?:

    Fusillade, +1 Feat, Rune Arm, and a few useful enhancements

    IMO, no point having insightful attack or insightful damage if you are bringing 6 levels of rogue to the table. I mean, the insightful attack is pointless. With all the other xbow enhancements you will take, you won't need the 40=60 int score to help your attack bonus. Your mid 30 dex score will be enough of a bonus. Int score to damage will be accessed through rogue mechanic, so what else ar eyou getting with 6 levels of Arti?

    The question is, what can you get out of another class getting those 2 levels that you would miss from Artificer? Take a look at some more combinations, you might not need that many levels in artificer, or maybe you are going to want more.

    For some reason I was thinking I needed 6 levels of Arti for Fusillade. That does open up things a bit. So I now I will look at what 2 levels more of rogue could give versus 3 levels of another class. 13 rogue / 4 arti / 3 ? or I don't know yet. will have to think about it.

    Ah reading fail, I did not see the OP was as old as it was.
