Smile Questions for my next life (druid)

i decided to try and get a completionist (long project :P)
because of it, i want a druid past life on the toon. so far i have ranger, bard, monk
i have alot of gear that can re-use in this life, but mostly because i want the druid PL for hires on all the lifes to come :P

but the druid build is proving hard to plan. i searched the forums and got some ideas, but im still undecided.

what i want: a life that dosnt suck basically. dosnt have to be the best but has to be good
i am mostly decided for a winter form, double strike based kind of build. with mediocre AC and semi good PRR
Play stile: i dont solo much. i plan on casting spells like firewall, or earthquake and fighting inside. self buffing and the rest to self healing (if a party member happens to be inside the mass vigor, good for him XD)

the biggest problem is the lack of feats :P
but even getting only 1 meta (empower healing) i cant fit all the feats i want or i think i need

this is the best i could come up with, and i dont like it :S (in no particular order)

    Shield Mastery,
    Improved Shield Mastery
    Toughness
    Power Attack
    Natural Fighting
    Empower Healing Spell,
    Improved Critical (Bludgeoning)

that's the 7 basic feats all toons get. lets say i go human, i would choose a second "natural fighting"
but what about cleave? weapon focus? a third "natural fighting"?

is it worth it splashing 2 fighter to get 2 extra feats?

This toon has +4 tome to all stats, so i was thinking of using something like this at creation
    STR: 16,
    DEX: 12,
    CON: 16,
    INT: 10,
    WIS: 16,
    CHA: 8

    Skills
not using skill points in UMD, since i have access to a arcane and divine spells, the only thing i can think of scrolling is invis, and i can always use an item or pots, so cha 8 is fine
    Im thinking of maxing out
    Intim, diplo, Bluff, Concentration, (balance/jump)

any ideas, experience, links to builds, etc is appreciated
and sorry for my grammar, not writing badly on purpose, its my second language

I don't see much point in staying pure for for a 1-20 then TR druid build. I would splash 2 monk for stunning fist and evasion.

PRR from a shield in heroic as a non-defender is pretty minimal, and probably not worth the bother. Just try to pick up some standard DR.

Try to fit in maximize pretty early also, it really juices up your icestorm/firewall.

then dump the shield mastery feats in exchange for more natural fighting doublestrike.

You'll do fine. Druid is pretty good in heroic levels.
    Gildus, Yhvain, Sabathiel, Einion

    Cannith, GOCI

Actually the shield mastery line offers slightly more doublestrike than natural fighting. With both shield masteries your doublestrike is up 15%. Two natural fighting feats only net you 12%. Just saw doublestrike breakdown on ddocast.

Actually ism is 8% total. You get 3% for sm and ism brings total to 8%. The description is misleading. To see for yourself unequip sheild in wolf form and check the difference in your character sheet.

I have no idea where the people on ddo cast got 15% but they're wrong.

    Here's how ds is calculated:
    Natural fighting 6% x3 = 18%
    Sm 3%
    Ism 5%
    Item 6%
Celerity 60% (description says 50% but actual in-game is 60%)
    shadow dancer w IV running, 4% (1 minute 5/day)

Legendary dreadnought lightning mace 15% on crit for 6 seconds (must be using a blunt weapon)

    +1 true info.

Cant fit in SM, ISM & Natural fighting x3 by 18th level unless you splash fighter class for feats. But if you're going for Double strike might as well go all in for it. I'd suggest splashing fighter at 11th and 12th level to get ISM and Imp Crit Bludgeoning as the fighter feats while taking Natural fighting at 12th, 15th & 18th level.

See my build on earlier post.

Oh I know, I was just listing all possible sources off doublestrike that I know of.

Main reason being if you just want to max out DS, you are much better off dumping SM/ISM and taking natural fightingx3, but on a pure druid-to-25-and-staying-druid build you want all of these

i tough about it and i dont want to use a monk splash

i would prefer a rogue splash for evasion and the bonus of traps. but then i would need a helf with paladin diletant, and mroe cha and nope.

im really interested in armor, shield and ac and prr :P

I'm gona check that out, Because tje idea is to get as much double strike as posoble

The added bonus is that shields also give ac

But what about the other feats?
Any recommendations on the feats I chosed?

I am also doing druid life next for my completionist project. I definately think splashing for feats is the way to go. I could not decide monk or fighter. I think monk would be more my style generally but am leaning towards the fighter splash. With the fighter levels at the right place you can get 26% double strike by 18th level.

I still have to consider taking three monk levels build and if getting 5% run speed will suffice.

See my two build options here:

i think i made a pretty nice build, and this time i like it enough :P

i haven't decided yet about the lvl 9 feat.
Empower healing afects the "heal" spell, and its cheaper
empower spell, affects cure spells (not heal) but also works with firewall.

(i dont have spell points items like Con op GS, so its going to be tight on SP)

any well constructed critics are more than welcome
