Unhappy Help in RE: Satellite Connections

Is there anyone out there that connects to DDO with a Satellite connection? Specifically HughesNet GEN4? I have a top of the line gaming laptop Asus I7 with nividia 2G graphics card but just changed my ISP and have only been able to connect one time since the change. Turbine is saying it is my ISP and my ISP is saying all is fine. I am a p2p and have a year invested in DDO and wish to continue playing. Other games that I occassionally mess with, PWI, Lineage II etc all play fine. PLEASE anyone that can help post to this.

    THANK YOU so MUCH!

    *post your directx diags.
    *flush your dns
*If you have DDO stored under "program files" move it to a different location. If you haven't re installed in the last year, just delete ddo and re install it to a different directroy to handle internal file fragmentation.
*save only your keyfile. Let userpreferances get wiped.
*make certain you can hit Turbine servers

*there are log files saved somewhere within the DDO directory system. Probably want to delete those. I don't know without going to look myself of where and what.
*and formost, post your ACTUAL error messages you are given.

    Default Thank you

Thank youu Missing Minds for your post. I will try all that when I get home and will unistall and reinstall as well. I am not super tech savvy so not sure I understand some of what you said but will attempt to figure out that which I do not fully understand.

For how to get and post your directx diags here in the forums. We'll want them because that will answer a lot of questions we'd just spam you with about the make and model of your machine.

For the flushing of your DNS, just open up a command window, (but close all other networking programs such as Outlook, firefox, xfire, steam, etc.) and do the following command in it.
    ipconfig /flushdns

Also, you may want to just power off your router/modem (both) for 5-20 minutes if you haven't done so in a while. (I try to do this once a month just to be on the safe side.)

    Default Still Need Help

I am hanging on the log screen since I changed ISP's. I am a p2p and have 9 months in game. Do nto want to loose that. Is there anyone out there that is playing off satellite? I cannot believe I am the only person using a satellite connection. My latency is always fair mid 70's to 90's. However since I change ISP's I have only been able to log on one time. I am suffering from severe game withdrawal and have been working with both Turbine and my ISP so far to no avail. I will take my laptop to work tomorrow and uninstall nad reinstall. We have checked my AC1750 Router by direct connecting my laptop to modem so know it isn't my router. I am destitute !!!!! Someone please help!

Instead of just asking again, why don't you post the information you were asked to? People can't help in a vacuume

    Default Doing all requested

I have done all Missing Minds recommended. Brought laptop to work, uninstalled and reinstalled, flushed DNS etc. Will check tonight when I get home to see if I can log in. Thank you for replying.... My basic question is only if anyone else is connecting via a satellite. I am willing to try anything and everything versus the inability to play the game ever again. Been consistently working with both ISP and Turbine. Was hoping the users on the forums would have more suggestions that I have not tried. I do appreciate the time you have taken to respond. Also my apologies if you think you are in a "vacuum".

We can do nothing further without the first and last thing I mentioned in my first post to you.

Turbine reps will tell you the EXACT same thing I have in so far as those go, and will not respond further until you do.

Sorry, but without more information, there is nothing further we nor they can do.
