Why is there no more Toughness in the Augment slots?

Also, Is it possible to slot the old (live now) Toughness, if we buy it now, in the new slots? I think so but need confirmation.

No. Old augs wont work in new item aug slots.

There is GFL, it's the +35 HP.

But it should still work if we slot toughness now (on live), no? Or will slotted toughness become automatically ineffective once the update hits live?

It will work and stay the same even after update. To slot anything else you'd have to place in stone of change to reset it but it will work fine til then.

Ok, this is somewhat disturbing:

The only greater false life available is no longer going into yellow slots.

AND the +35 hp bonus mentioned in the augment preview is in fact, a false life item. And THAT doesn't go into a yellow slot either.

Devs, no more false life in yellow slots and no toughness at all? This is terrible. I thought that the augment system was supposed to add customizability as per feathers recent post, not take it away. I don't see a more lenient distribution of green slots in the linked EE gear so far either to allow these false life items.

Couple that with the removal of the 20 hp we get on large guild slot items, we generate a substantial HP loss if we are to incorporate this new gear.

On +7 enhancement bonuses - somewhat not surprised this is missing.

On live, it's a stacking +1 to most items with slots. In the new system, it could be a stacking +5 to some items (if it is possible to get a +2 Primal Planeforged Halfplate of Omniscience with a blue slot).
