Living in the Twilight, Under the Moon
The enhancements of the standard cleaver/esos jugg version is very suboptimal compared to sireth/centered or nightmare/twf version, simply because u cannot focus on either quarterstaff or bastard swords.
Basically i used alot of points in AA, ninja spy, deepwood and warforged, just put a couple into Battle engi to get the lvl 6 core ability. Might be worth to spend a couple in arcano tech for more SP, better scrolls/wands and ofc the spellpower per point spent.
Only getting spellpower from BaE when using a runearm and then rid****ilous amounts like 8 spellpower and no really good stuff especially on top tier abilites makes it kind of lackluster.
Weapon attachement must be a **** joke, same on WF tree. Takes ages to activate and one swap and its gone for the utter **** bonus of 0,5 dice and that as top tier ability comparing crit multipliers / threat ranges or other nasty stuff from other classes.
Fitting the battle engineer line of enhancement bonus on weapon and PRR gain there should be some serious engineering for tier 5 enhancements. Like a chosen metallic alloy improvement, using a weapon buff from arti spell list enhances them like improved elemental arrows from AA; providing more damage, additional damage, better crit ranges, mutlipliers etc.

Hmm, yeah, figured some from the centered screenshots you posted. Would love to see a SS from the twf build though ^_^

Question time! Will all armour slots still be the same? (augments equips etc). Is the PRR still worth it now that we don't have mithril body anymore? What would your preference be btw, Double Nightmare, or Balizare/Nightmare (aka better crits, less vampirism?)
Living in the Twilight, Under the Moon
Still using same gear, except for necklace theres the skirmisher one with deadly 8 and dodge 9.
double nightmare
Got 44 PRR currently, 15 set 14 slottet 5 Battle arti and 10 from tempest

Partially because I don't even have 1 nightmare yet...and I would need to get a butt load more comms for them too.
In the mean time, I have 2 celestias at least upgraded to tier 1 and they would even allow me to be centered.
Before LR into this version it would be nice to compare it's dps with the centered version.
Would be cool if you could go in claw of vulkoor Ee and kill sobrien using nighmares.
If you take a screenshot when u start beating and one when you kill him we can see how much it took from your displacement clicky buff.
Anyone will be able to do the same with his version (cleaver or sireth or Esos) and see the result with his/her own eyes
Why not toughness at 3? so Elusive target at 26? Or Holy Strike?
~ Crimson Eagles of Khyber ~~ Melianny ~ Melizzic ~ Melton ~ Meliambit ~ Mellant ~ Melimenace ~ Melangst ~
As a request could you take your gear setups on the first page and just quickly categorize the items by how likely they are to change given what you have seen so far from U19? Trying to work on gearing my Jugg now and I would like to be able to focus on grabbing items that are unlikely to change any time soon.
Just three categories like "Not Changing", "Might Change", "Definitely Changing" would be a huge help in focusing efforts.
Thanks~
Granted on Elusive Target - I hadn't noticed. The adjusted build however has
3 Completionist / Dodge
...
26 Toughness
27 Epic Toughness
28 PTWF
so he already has PTWF. I guess what I am then comparing is Dodge (I do not have completionist) with Holy Strike. Why is Holy Strike so crappy? From the description it doesn't look too bad:
"
Your weapons gain Ghost Touch. Your vorpal strikes deal 10d6 untyped damage vs. Evil enemies. (This bonus damage works with melee, unarmed, and ranged attacks.)
"

~ Crimson Eagles of Khyber ~~ Melianny ~ Melizzic ~ Melton ~ Meliambit ~ Mellant ~ Melimenace ~ Melangst ~
10d6 -> 10-60. 10+60 = 70, 70/2 = 35.
So, that's an avg of 35 dmg from holy strikes.. on a vorpal. 1/20 is a vorpal, meaning 35/20 = 1.5.
So, that feat is 1.5 dmg per hit on avg. It's not terrible.. but there's better.
Hell, I'd prefer to take a DR breaking feat, and I don't really see much of a use for those.
Unless you want ghost touch, of course.
*Edit* Uh. Small mistake. 35/20 is 1.75. I... Don't even know what I was on.

Btw, since you are dualwielding what do you slot in your weapons now that you have 2? I guess you just slot recon in the off hand weapon. But what in the main? Acid? Good? Aligned?
Just tried it out btw, and this looks brilliant, whirling machine of death!

Yeah, twf bastard sword builds gained a lot of hotness as jugs. I've always chucked at fighters doing it, but the enhancements puts jugs significantly ahead.
Thinking of starting my second juggy in this format. Still too tickled with my centered version to consider swapping out. Heck, I even stopped his completionist run I liked it so much :P
Trying to decide which toon I want to bring over to the twf bastard sword darkside. Since my raid healing fvs was turned into a useless ac abomination with the enhancement pass, brothanumsi may become a dps and leave the raid healing to cromix.
****, I'll be down to one cleric and no fvs at all. That's quite funny in a sick way!
Khyber: Evandus, Halfdeadd, Licoricewhip, Sawyn, Elkabongg, Brothanumsi, Soulbro, Cromix.
And an army of gimp experiments!
I'd love to hear what you think of the build after you play through EE Stormhorns. When I playtested the TWF Juggernaut on Lamannia, dual Nightmares felt anemic against CR73 mobs when soloing EE Lines of Supply.
You can gain 10 more PRR easily by using Guardian's Ring (24 PRR, 8 STR, Yellow slot) ML27. Very easy to obtain since it's a static quest reward, and it's well itemized.Got 44 PRR currently, 15 set 14 slottet 5 Battle arti and 10 from tempest
Khyber: Ying-1, Kobeyashi, Nichevo-1 | 75 million Reaper XP
I'm so angry with this ring. I mean, it's great that 24prr is on a ring, but it really should be on a ring that drops in a quest and could have an EE version for a higher Strength bonus, not one of these quest reward items.
like...
En 16prr, 8str, colorless. ml 25
Eh 20prr, 8str, yellow. ml 26/27
Ee 24prr, 10str, yellow. ml 28
Just hit level 20 on my unarmed juggernaut (2 ranger/2 monk/16 arti). Now that monk form feats are purchasable, I'm trying to decide how to use my lr: do I want to stick to unarmed like my last 3 lives, or switch to stout oak until I get a better quarterstaff.
Main attractions for wraps:
- I prefer them/am used to them
- stun fist
- holy burst ring
- unarmed attack speed
- I have not stockpiled q-staves like I have wraps
- extra 10% off-hand chance and 15 prr from shintao
Quartersaff:
- no need to skimp on feats
- no need for stun dc items/enhancements/ed twists
- pulverizer/lightning mace in leg dreadnought
- not bugged with tunnel vision
- henshin quarterstaff enhancements
Feats (7 heroic, 3 epic, 2 monk bonus, 4 arti bonus, 3 ranger/1 arti auto-grant):
- rapid reload
- bow str
- twf
- rapid shot
- imp twf
- gr twf
- stun fist
- pbs
- manyshot
- pa
- imp crit ranged
- imp crit blunt
- quicken
- precise shot
- imp prec shot
- cleave
- gr cleave
- zen archery
- monk form x3
- overwhelming crit
- combat archery
That's 3 more feats than I have. For quarterstaff I'd drop imp twf, greater twf, and stunning fist. Not sure what I'd drop to stay unarmed. I really want to stay unarmed though. My first thought was to drop grandmaster of forms, imp prec shot, and stunning fist, but stun fist is a large part of why I want to stay unarmed. Any suggestions?
