if you don't already have one, run Delera's for a carnifex. pretty much all you will need from level 4 until at least the mid Heroic levels

Carnifax is ok if you can't craft. With a +5 strength and a +10 power attack it will do. (min lvl 4)
    32.9 per attack

But a Holy great axe of Pure Good will do. (min lvl 5)
    33.15 per attack.
and at lvl 9 you can add a +2 enhance and with the critical slash feat it will do.
    37.2 per attack.
Can make a Holy Maul of Pure Good too for blunt damage.

Plus as a crafted weapon you can make it our of silver, adamantine, cold iron etc for DR breaking.

Worried about the 5% of enimies that are non-good?
Screaming Great Axe of *Bane (*vermin / animal whatever)

    35.825 per hit!!
    (min lvl 3!!!)

at lvl 9 add +3 enhance and crit feat =
    41.25 per hit

So if you have crafting and make bane weapons for each situation you will do almost 10hp per hit more than Carnifax by lvl 9 and break DR.

Sure not everyone has crafting and it takes time investment but that's what stops it from being OP.

Advanced builds like the Juggernaut become 'super' with crafting.
Hell the example at the start of this thread had like 5 GS displacement clickies. Might as well Cannith craft too.

(At higher heroic lvls named items may start to outclass crafted ones)

Hey, why go 11 wisdom? you can put the point on int or str and I can't see which feat requires it?

Yeah, Carnifex loses its touch after you get improved critical. Why isn't the Antique greataxe listed here btw?
It seems to me that weapon wise you cannot go wrong with Carnifex/Antique > Sword of Shadows (>LitII greataxe) > Any epic 2 hander you can get (Esos, Epic antique, Cleaver). If you cannot grab the names ones any DR breaking or Holy/acid burst of pure good does wonders. Those aren't hard to craft either.

My question. The twist choices in each ED are logical. But what are your tactics in each of these ED's? I guess in Fury you bouldertoss/primal scream/adrenaline overload. But what are your tactics in LD?
(And, what paths did you take in them ED's?)

People using this build generally speaking will have multiple past lives and/or completionist, as such they will have lots of gear from raids, random loot, crafted themselves and named items from the various quests.

definitely agree that crafting opens up a lot of possibilities but based on the question, I was responding with items they could get as quest rewards.

another good combo for crafted is holy great axe of bleed. for the things not impacted by bleed, you will probably want a different crafted combination any way.

Ibdon't own delara's unfortunatly due tobsome RL issues Ibdropped my VIP and I am working on purchasing bits and pieces alongvthe way with favor and the occational $ I find extra in the budget. And I haven't messed with crafting much but I will check around and seevif I can find someone willing to craft shards for me. To cover bases would screaming of puregood be a good alternative to holy or puregood? Scrramingvwould cover the 5% immune to good and the puregood would cover the rest. While not as much damage would be much more broad coverage. One great axe/sword one maul to cover slashing and blunt for skeles.

Alsobto answer a question above healers friend only helps positive energy healing so wouldn't help repair spells that's where a reconstructive item/potions come in handy and of course enhancements

Sorry for gramaticalberrors typingvthis on my cell

No, but it will help on the healing everyone else casts on you. Say if you group or raid. HF3 is essential IMO.

Those are the stats he has at lvl 20 without putting skills in anything. For trapper, your best bet is Disable device, search, spot, open lock and 1 point in tumble to start with. After that, put any leftover points in UMD, Balance, Jump or haggle to your own preference. No need for concentration since you will quicken the spells where it matters anyways.

There is a skill tree layout shown for both Fury and LD in the Jugg only VoD Video in the OP.

Default Carnifex is just fine (sword of the thirty not bad either)

Not sure what build you are talking about here. Jugg not going to get access to improved crit feat at lvl 9, or did I miss something?

Actually, what stops it from being OP is even if you can craft who wants to waste the time and inventory space when you can just grab a Carnifex from the bank and zerg through levels. May be losing a few points per hit as oppossed to a "bane" weapon set for "situations", but for the content its just not needed at those levels. At lvl 12 Carnifex is obsolete, and up to lvl 12 I prefer to save time, inventory and mats and just whack everything.

The only weapons you need till lvl 12 are Carnifex, and Undead beater (my preferred is a Flaming Flametouched of Greater Undead Bane Maul, even on TWF builds or casters) a silver something, and maybe some DR breakers for threnal/chrono if you really want to run that content while leveling to 12. Other than that? I prefer the bank space.

I totally missed that even while I was watching the vids. Thanks.
Anyways. What's the benefit of 2 main ED's? When do you use 1 over the other? LD has master blitz, Fury has adrenaline overload. But when to use what?

Blitz, being the OP thing it is, for solo/shortman (or groups, if you think you'll be getting enough kills, which you quite easily can)
Fury for raids (when blitz is hard to abuse) and situations with other melees... Playing nice and all 'dat ****.
(Oh. And Fury for furyshot burst damage. :3)
Disclaimer. This is just what I used.

I am on a first life build working my way thru the game trying to use only what I pull or the occational good deal on the AH from selling various collectables etc.

Thanks for any help in advance.
All of the aforementioned weapons are great. I am currently using the Chieftans Spear from the rare drop in 3BC. I've found it allows me to stay centered which is nice, not critical of course but nice. Lesser Air stance affords 7.5% attack speed bonus and 2.5% doublestrike chance.

    It's an awesome spear and with Cleave/Great Cleave does some good damage;

It isn't easy to get but ive had good fun with it.

    Default Jug experience

I just maxed out LD on my jug, and I really have to say Masters Blitz is awesome in some quests. Just on paper, I thought it would be hard to keep up, but in some quests and challenges (ehard cabal for example) you can blitz through to the end fight. Looking forward to test out FotW, but Ill have to level shiradi first.

Im playing the pally version, with an eAGA, still missing some gear but doing fine so far. I really need that blademarks docent shard... Im also looking for a better bow but dont know which one, Im not raiding that much recently and named bows from quests dont look that hot.

ah, the quarterstaff from the villager turn-in is quite nice, high base damage (2d6), some nice stats, and keeps you centered. If youre going for sireth or just want to beat bludgeon DR, this is the perfect choice for you.
