    Cool Build Critique: rog/wiz/monk Arcane Acrobat

    Hey, so I'm thinking about putting effort into playing an arcane acrobat build. Generally, I went enchantment focused for CC. Went warforged for self heals and HP boosts. Acrobat II for the attack speed increases with staves and no knockdown plus full skill points into UMD and necessary rogue skills. Monk one level for the stance versatility. 7 Wiz for feats and 4th level spells/enhanced lower level spell selection and Archmage I for extra DCs on crowd control spells and SPs.

    I'd like to see holes poked in or maybe better feat selection. The HPs seem a bit low to me and I'm not sure if that's the planner messing up or just a raw reality. Also, gear to strive for. I want this toon to be viable endgame epic elites and such but I've only just come back to the game after a few years and I'm just not familiar enough with what's available now for gear and Epic Destinies.

    Forget all DC based spells that are not damage spells like Acid Rain which only proc DC check on first damage.
    With 7 wiz there is just no way to make DC work, not even on normal.

    8wiz/12rogue or 7wiz/13rogue would be better
    consider to drop Mental Toughness and SF
    get Extend (recasting Tenser and the other buffs can be a pity) and maximize (acidrain / repair)

    Right so go with an evoc or transmutation (buffs) focus, ditch the enchants because my DCs will never be good enough. Mental Toughness is necessary for the archmage pre, have extend in there. Going 13 Rogue for the improved SA might be an idea.


    Any ideas on gearing?

    oh ok, didnt know it was preq. never played arch, sla didnt look good enough for me to give up so much sp.

    Looked at them again, nothing worth giving up 2featslots (mental & SF) for Archmage pre, you would only get 100sp for that and all the buffs you could learn would reduce your sp more then its ever worth also it would take away flexibility.
    Keep Mental T. if you think your sp are to low but ignore Arch Pre.

    13 rogue will give you the second rogue special feat so thats a strong suggestion.
    (wasnt sure if its 13 or 14)
    (improved evasion and opportunist best for you)

    depends on your packs for leveling
    parasitic breastplate with +10 reflex is always nice
    Ioun stones
    ring of the mire
    whisperchain
    leather from diplomatic impunity
    etc

    20+
    Oakstick from commendations and all the other commendations stuff is a good start

    check the fugly stick builds and co for more gear
