I don't like the reserved LFMs, at least in regards to anything other than "quest finished, need hands in chest" situations. Personal reasons for dislike aside, I think the issue with the LFMs, is the message that is being sent to new players. Take that as you will, but I would think we can all agree in some form or another that these types of LFM posts are bad for the server, regardless of the exact reasons why.

What can we do about them? Well I would really like to see people simply not joining them, if they need the reserved or not. Secondarily try to always post another of the same raid LFM simultaneously, to provide an alternative for everyone involved.

I don't think anyone has the right to dictate loot rules for other people, but I would really hope the long-term issues of this type of LFM posts are going have can be seen by most people on the server.

Oh I love the self righteous explanations.

You know. You should just be glad that these new players showed up on the server let a lone telling the world what is best for them.

This game has a lot of competition and is still holding its own. Every player on the servers supports this game. Even the ones who think they are playing for free. You are not playing for free!!! The time you spend playing makes Turbine money. Turbine has decided that you support the game as a free player and motivate other people with money to spend it.

You see Turbine realizes that server population is important, so that the people with the money to spend can the enjoy the game and stay and spend. You can have 100 free players on a server and if only one of them spends enough money to support a total of 101 players as a whole then the game will keep running.

Money runs this game. The game has rules. You are not the expert. Turbine has the marketing experts. Let turbine write the rules, so they can make money and keep the servers up. Maybe even get more servers.


I am one of the spenders. I like spending my money on it. I spend money to make the game more enjoyable. I have money cause I work hard. I make a lot of money and this game keeps me out of trouble when I travel around the world.

Don't tell me how to play it. That is Turbine's job. It is their servers.

Keep running around in the game like u should work for Turbine and being spiteful because you dont. All u are doing is shortening the lifespan of the game.
