    Default Passing loot in chests

After seeing this thread, a thought occurred. Instead of (as well as ?) the rather small and fiddly drop-down list in chests where it is easy to accidentally pass something to the wrong person, why not utilise the existing list of party members? Double-clicking an item in the chest or hitting "Loot All" can work the same way they've always done, but you could pass items to other people by clicking on it once in the chest and then clicking on the person in the party list (or hitting the corresponding F-key).

Could still have same problem as people are dropping group.
The F-key assignment would change as people are dropping.

I would rather see any loot left in the chest randomly redistribute from those that drop group to those still in party and in the quest.

This way anyone who mispasses or dont care who gets their loot can drop party without looting or putting things up for roll and waiting around.

Those that are left can loot to their hearts content any loot that is left in the chest.

I don't want to find name on the list, I just want to type it.

Still the best idea... except in the case of a DC. For a DC there should be something like a 5 min timer before it releases to allow people the chance to come back.

I honestly think an "Are You Sure" prompt should be present that contains the name of who your passing it to would be the better approach. This could cut down on passing to wrong person miss-clicks.

    Good point.
I would still count a DC'd person as being in party.

The suggestion has nothing to do with what happens when people drop party. It is purely to have an easier way to pass stuff without relying on the tiny drop-down list.

Which is fine for the completely different situation of abandoned loot, but on those occasions where people have chosen to pass stuff to a specific person it would be nice to have a reliable way of doing it.
