Stat dmg has been nerfed so much over the years that I wouldn't bother building around it anymore. Heavily-MCed rogues have their uses, but you give up a lot of sneak atk DPS by doing so; so make sure whatever you're getting from MCing (HPs, extra feats, spells, whatever) is worth the sacrifice to you. Also although Tempest got nerfed pretty bad years ago, I prefer rgr 6 to ftr 6 on TWF builds, esp. if you want self-healing; or you could do a combo ranged / melee build like my Deepwood Mechanic or Triple A. Finally, I think any mostly-rogue build should aim for Imp Sneak Atk as one of its epic feats, but that takes base DEX 21, which is tough to hit on races w/out a DEX bonus.

Thank you very much for the advice. I didn't see my misspelling of Iron and Rogue until after the fact. oops

I see that DDO still making the game "Balanced" :/

looking for a build that has high DPS, High trapmonkey, thats end game playable.

That sounds like a pure melee assassin who does not dump int is something which does what you want.
There are roughly two and a half mainstream ways to build it, and which one is the best is currently debated in at least 2 threads in the rogue forums:

Personally, I'm happy with my str-based halfling, but human has probably more dps.

Reading through all the forums is making me remember again the rogue life. Is Ghoste's Shadow Mage - The Build" still valid since it looks like wizards are nerfed? Hmm yea the build is little outdated... geeez Its was before the Wizard cataclysm of elements break up.

In addition to pure rogue or levle 18 rogue X I would say that 12 rogue is the best dps split in ddo that is under 18 class levels. Level 12 rogue X is solid. Now the OP is outdated and done, but a two weapon fighting 12 rogue 6 fighter 2 paladin stun build with a defensive emphasis is very solid as is 12 rogue 6 monk X. What is great about these builds is they have very solid defense yet with 12 rogue levels adequate offense. I am currently making what will eventually be an unarmed 12 rogue 6 monk 2 paladin with saves 55+, PRR of 70, dodge of 20%, incorporeality/blur/shadow, hp 675, Ac 100, healing amp of 2.00. With all that defense still has a stunning fist dc of 55+, 11d6 + 12 sneak damage, haste boost and damage boost 4, and EIN.

I agree with Matt. 12 rogue is awesome, 13 is better. And personally if I'm only doing 12ish rogue, I go Acrobat. 2d6 sneak damage is nice, but trip immunity is so much better.

I still like the rog 13 / 6 / 1 split; not a max-sneak-atk DPS build, obviously, but allows for more versatility or survivability while still getting Imp Evasion & Opportunist. Lots of possible combos, too: monk 6 / ftr 1, ftr 6 / barb 1 (or vice versa), pally 6 / ftr or monk 1, rgr 6 / ftr 1, etc.

I wouldn't consider wizards nerf...sure they got the spell pass and all but they are still a blast to run. Now with the addition of Epic Destinies and such the Shadow Mage or aka the Arcane Trickster builds are imho still valid and making a comeback.
