Dragon Plate Question

I still need a shard to make my Epic chain on my Barb and I am pretty close to making Cormyian Scale. I like the looks of the Plate better and I am going to TR this toon into a THF Kensai w/ Dreadnaught because thats the build I like best. If I go ahead and make the plate and use it for a bit until I tr, is there any thing else besides the ac and attack penalty I'll get? My to hit is already near 80 raged and I hardly ever miss and I am not an ac build so not overly concerned if those are the only two penalties I'll take. Plus, it won't be that long until I TR. Just looking for a few opinions.

You will also lose your PRR since you won't have heavy armor proficiency.

I sort of understand the PRR thing but as a full ******, fury of the wild, half orc barb my prr is only 19 anyway and I ain't gonna waste feats and enhancements built around HP and damage or trade in awsome barb gear for lesser junk to boost it as it seems to be working alright. Plus I have over 70% healing amp to help so this toon is a decently easy one to heal.

Your Dodge bonus is capped by your armor's MDB; that's the only other issue I can think of.

Take the freaking hints people are dropping to not use the armor until your fighter life.
