Default with Rogue, more than a light splash?

So to start of this build is for a possible Druid Duo to go along with a 13Druid/7Fighter Bear Tank Build so I'm thinking with a dedicated tank it would be fairly easy to have a sneak attack build but we both want to be druids to try out the class...now my question is how to make one I have never played A Druid so I'm not really sure how to line things up to get the best of both worlds especially since the druid PrEs are fairly meh (hoping that the devs just didnt bother much since it will be changed soon) even the standard 6/12/18/20 breaks points are non existent.

Anyways here's the observation I've made so far

    - Wolf Form is the form of choice for Boasted SA
    - Natural Fighting is Awesome so Minimum 9 Druid (Also nets Dire Wolf at 8)
    - Minimum Rogue I'd say is 6 for Assassin preferably 7 for the next bump to SA
    - Rogue 8 & 9 are good for improved uncanny dodge and another SA bump

This makes it max Lvl 18 (9Druid/9Rogue) which leave 2 levels

    - 10 Druid gets well...nothing..11 Druid gets 6th level spells..namely frostbite
    - 10 Rogue gets a special rogue ability...probably Improved Evasion or Opportunist
    - 11 Rogue gets another Bump of SA
    - Another option is Lvl 1 of something...1 monk for an extra feat, stances, wis to ac probably make Dex/Wis based with a decent str and con...dumping cha with 10-12 Int (prob human for extra skill pints and feat)

So that said I'm thinking 10Rogue/9Druid/1Monk Human

    Str 12
    Dex 16
    Con 14
    Int 10
Wis 16 (Lvl ups here both for AC and special wolf ability DCs)
    Cha 8

    Skills
Primary: Disable Device, Search & Concentration
Secondary: OL, Spot,Diplomacy, than w/e (on rogue levels...MS & Hide if I can fit it)

Required Feats: Nat Fighting x 3, Toughness, Stunning Fists, IC: Bludgeon??, Weapon Finesse
Possible Feats: Augment Summoning, PA, Cleave, Great Cleave, Improved Sunder, Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack, Extend, Skill Focus: X

Lastly I'd like to clarify that as a build meant for either a Duo or grouping with our static group having to be "worth a slot" is not required...so the only factor is Fun

    Any suggestions?

    ED will likely be Shadowdancer.

    Possible Twists
DI - Energy Sheath, Draconic Perception
Magi - Unearthly Reactions, Fade into the Weave
EA - Embrace the Light, Endless Faith
GMoF - A Dance of Flowers, Running with the Wind, Hail of Blows
LD - Improved Power Attack, Legendary Tactics (would this boost wolf special attack DCs?), Action Boost Haste
FotW - Fast Healing,Ward against weird
PA - Seeking Balance, Natural Shielding
    SC - Healing Spring, IoWB

Due to the slower attack speed and lower damage of a bear vs a wolf druid i'm inclined to disagree with the whole idea. I tried playing bear a few times.. just seemed i killed faster when NOT in form. And how often is a dedicated tank required?

As for your build, its based around having the bear druid tanking.. I'd think a pair of pure druids or one with enough splash to get traps would kill faster. Both go wolf and focus on sneak attacks, but take the reaving roar enhance.

If you're splashing more than 1 or two levels don't bother with augment summons or even bringing out the put, you lose some health and SP any time it dies.

My first druid life i went 2 rogue 18 druid and loved it, set the wolf up to be my bluffer and things went down quick when i was sneak attacking, and i could toss out some SP to up the damage when i wasn't getting sneak attacks.

Second druid life i tried the pet as a tank with a hire to heal it.. It was ok, not on par with an arti dog tanking, but decent intimidation and AC. I later swapped it back to bluff/sneak attack.

Please just ignore the "Bear Tank" bit it's not really important and not necessarily the final build for the tank...the point I was trying to make that theres no worries about a "flavour" build messing up your LFMs...I like the concept of this SA Focused Druid build and would like to mess around with it but would like some suggestions how best to build it. I LIKE to try new builds about 60-70% of my builds like this crash and burn but the ones that work great keep me trying.

As for AS the plan is to use it early game and drop later

Yeah an Assassin2 Dire wolf Build would be cool but for some reason the Devs put a Lvl 9 Druid requirement on Nat fighting and those feats are just to **** awesome

    Default Already Done

    Hey Dude,

I haven't gotten around to posting this because I haven't finished the final touches, but I can tell you what I did at a basic level. I did a 10 Druid/9 Rogue/1 Fighter. Here are just a couple highlights...

    Feats:
    Overwhelming Crit (and all prereqs)
    Toughness
    Shield Mastery
    Improved Shield Mastery
    Natural Fighting x 3
    Opportunist (Rogue Feat)

    Double Strike:
    18% 3 x Natural Fighting
    03% Opportunist
    08% Improved Shield Mastery
    07% Legendary Shield Mastery
06% Alchemical Large Shield (Crystal so don't break oath, of course)
    ----
    42% Double Strike (WHOAAAAA)

I'm not posting all the stats/gear yet. I haven't finalized it, but I do have about 70-80% of the gear figured out and I've looted a lot of things I will DEFINITELY use.

Oh, and definitely stay in winter wolf form for khopesh crit profile for any weapon. Even first life with mediocre gear, I'm doing well in DPS. Oh, and definitely be in primal avatar for your destiny. With that, you can get x5 crit multiplier on your 19's and 20's using Nature's Fury and Overwhelming Critical.

Anyway, I'm not going to post the full build for a while yet, but I just wanted to be like -- "Hey, I made something like this already and it's working well so far". Duderella is the toon.

    Default nice

Just had a conversation about apnelsons level split with a friend 10/9/1 rog/druid/ftr.

I do like the 10 rogue for opportunist, but I do also like 13 Druid for lvl 7 spells and Jaws of Winter 6[w] counts as a SA, and foe can be frozen solid(granting you continuous SA til dead).
You can still sneak in 6 rogue for Assassin 1, or 7 Rogue for another SA die, though 1 lvl of fighter is much needed for the extra feat.

You could also wait for the new enhancement system and go pure wolf druid, with Halfling Racial Assassin prestige.

You would get: Full casting abilities-Mmm Snowslide!
Natures Warrior 2 for 2d6 SA
Druid Natural Adept capstone for 2d6 more SA.
Halfling Guile/Cunning enhancements for more SA

Pure Druid is really short on feats if you want a lot of goodies

That ONLY freezes them if the attack was a sneak attack to begin with, such as your dog bluffs or your wolf form bluff attack (which is supposed to count skillpoints in ranks in its DC) have applied bluff.

Can't say i'd care one way or the other if the builds applied to a group i am running ingame. I may ask about a build there, but its curiosity not trying to put someone down. And of course i'd accept before throwing out my questions. No doubt you can make it work, player skill and gear will make it even better. And most importantly fun. You might want to work in Empower Heal, for 10 extra SP its really worth it on any of the heal spells a druid gets.

Enhancement-wise, I think that Fatal Harrier (needs 7 druid) is pretty interesting. I've seen some quite potent Monk builds using this. For a rogue, it might be even easier to kill-steal (which you essentially need to do to keep FH running).
Toons on Orien: Meinir // Flodur // Twiddler // Thorkar // Impetor // Juliacantor // Minor all Soko Irrlicht
