"Exclusive" Pets

Just thought it would be cool if one could obtain really "exclusive" pets.

Seems every time an "exclusive" item comes out for a MM reward, seasonal event, etc., the (at the time) exclusive thing looks very cool. Then a month later, it is offered in the store.

I understand the business side of this game, but I kinda think some things could remain "exclusive" to the specific event/reward/whatever they were initially introduced in.

Hmm, IIRC White Wolf Cub has never been seen in the store.
And you only had it if you were in one of the following category :
- Winner of a Swag Bag at PAX
- Earned it during MOTU Closed Beta ( I don't exactly know how they handled who got them, I just know I got mine that way ).

also the people who donated to the Children's Miracle Network through Tolero's fund raising drive got the winter wolf pup.
