Auction house epic boss and mob weapons or drops

If i dont want to grind out crafted weapons what are some good weapons to get at auction and how far off from crafted weapons percentage wise will they be? Prefer falchions but does not have to be. Prefix and sufix recs. Assuming I need absolute min lvl 20?

As far as boss beaters, get someone to craft you +4/+5 Holy [metal] of Bane. You're not going to find anything nearly as good on the AH.

As far as trash, look for CCish things. Erosive is a good prefix that's fairly common, Obscenity is the best affix but is very rare. You may want to try cannith challenge weapons like the Elemental Greataxe of Fire.

Was reading holyburst of bloodletting or mauling is good for evil mobs and maybe a metalline version of that for bosses?

I am seeing a nice improvement in norm damage with absolute ml20. I am lvl21 and prob have to be 24 or 25 to get an AML20 with nice prefixes and suffixes I guess?

So when u said better what percentage better? More than 20%?

I plan on the Purple Dragon gear for my current epic grind. Any quick ways to get commendations for it?

Using up an affix on metalline equals a significant drop in DPS. Just buy crafted Holy of Bane metal weapons (with AML20 blanks), they are not expensive.

The Epic Greataxe of Fire is a bit of a challenge grind, but it's going to be significantly better than anything you can reasonably buy. You could also run Small Problem and Big Top on EH to work on your Epic Antique Greataxe.

The best affixes are unsurprisingly level 24/25, yes.

The most reliable way to get a particular commendation is to run the Druid's Curse (U15) chain on casual. 45 minutes or so (less with a group) will net you 3 comms of choice. You could also farm chests in the various Web flagging quests, but you are not guaranteed any particular type.
