I do think that Turbine needs to start giving bigger bonuses to VIP's. The same $100 I would use for a 1 year VIP status I could use to buy enough points to buy all the benefits of being VIP and not have to re-up for another year. Seems to me that Turbine needs to start coming up with some unique bonuses or I will probably just dump VIP soon.

Personally, I think that the pay-to-play era of MMO games is drawing to a close, especially with the recent shift of some bigger name MMO's adding a F2P model. I am current a premium player, and have been for quite a while. Considering that I have spent the money to purchase all of the various account unlock options, the only reason I would even consider going VIP ever again is if Turbine were to refund me all of those TP in the process, but that will never happen.

I won't be VIP again until Turbine tightens up QA, and the rampant bugs that were the hallmark of the game in 2012 (imho) are brought back under control. Yes, there will always be bugs in an MMO... but Turbine shamed itself in that regard (again, imho) this past year with the sheer number of them that made it to Live. And disgusted me enough as a loyal and persistent VIP since 06 to rethink where my money was being spent.

They can toss in whatever VIP perks they want to at this point, it won't tempt me. They need to get their act together as a development team before I open the wallet again.

If I started all over again knowing what I know now, I would go VIP. But since I have already handed over a small fortune to Turbine as Premium, I will stick with Premium. I cannot imagine anything being offered which would have me swap to VIP now.

So what you are saying is "should VIPs get another 100+ bank vault slots for free?"

That would be pretty stupid of them. I'm all for VIPs getting something more for thier money but it would make more sense to just allow more bank tabs/share bank space and even if you gave one or two free to VIPs, make the rest available for sale to all.

i like the idea of something like. every month/year your vip you get some like 10 shared inventory spaces. something like that would be neat but hard to justify going vip with the sucky QA they got going on now a days. ok maybe something like 1 per month.. 10 would be abit much

I've been considering dropping my sub, there are classes we don't get, and now adventures we don't get, it just seems to be decreasing in value.

I know the arguments have been and gone about VIP not getting all the classes, but regardless I still feel that we are getting ripped off by not having access to them whilst paying a monthly fee.

yeah definitely needs 'something' a bit more than the 500tp a month, and opening quests on elite, what that is, I'm not sure, but it does need something if turbine want it to continue.

(I kind of have the impression that they don't want it to continue and VIP is kind of a 'legacy' deal, where so many preferred to just pay monthly that it was in their best interests to keep it.
