    Lightbulb Monk attack speed Vs Melee Alacrity

    Hello All;

    Regarding to the attack speed, which one is faster:

    Unarmed 6 monk / 12 Rogue with wind stance (7,5% enchantment bonus)
    or
    2WF 20 pure rogue with melee alacrity item (10% enchantment bonus)?

    And I want to know that; only the wind stance make the monks attack fast or another thing about unarmed fighting style?

    Thanks in advance.

    unarmed fighting in and of itself is inherently faster than other forms of combat. This attack speed bonus stacks with all other sources, so the 6/12 in wind stance would attack faster than the pure rogue.

    Thank you for the reply.

    Do you know the percentage of the attack speed increase of the monks other than wind stance?

    Unarmed attacks about 10% faster than regular TWF, assuming you have the flurry of blows feat from 1 monk level.

    You should also be aware that none of the things you're discussing (except the base unarmed speed) stack with haste. So under most circumstances in a group, wind stance is only about the double-strike chances and melee alacrity items are useless.
