Man was that a rough go. I popped in as the group was starting opt 1. Took another 3 or 4 hours. stressful.
Finally get end fight done on 4th try. Get to the chests and a b-sword drops in my name.
Not planning to use a b-sword on my monk so i put it up for roll. b-sword using fighter/rogue in party drops his roll instantly, could tell he was hawking the sword. He had a crappy roll but seemed like the only one who wanted sword.
Little late to roll a second person rolls on the sword. Now, after calling for the rolls I realize that this is THE item for this rogue toon and I wanted to make sure secondary person was going to fully utilize the item before I passed it to them. So I asked the second person if they where planning to actively use the sword or if it was just bank space flavor for them. People usually find their citw item long long long before the comm's to upgrade and use it, alot of times ive seen people put weapons for roll with nobody interested in them... So what happened was extremely odd to me. The second person (who won the roll) immediately griped that I was now wanting to pass the item to my friend (i dont know the b-sword rogue very well so that wasnt the case) after first offering up the item for roll. Which is not what I did, and not what I asked. But it was posed to me in such a way that they made it obvious I was doing some underhanded loot passing in their eyes.....BS, and ef you.
I was trying to make sure i didn't screw a true b-sword user out of his dream weapon because someone else thought it looked kinda pretty and might use it some day. If the second person would have replied with anything hinting towards something like "Oh yes, absolutely. Would really love that item" or any flavor or color along those lines it would have been passed immediately....instead he immediately accused me of some underhanded loot practices (plus he never answered the question i posed to him) so the item went to the b-sword fighter/rogue.
I put it up for roll instead of vendoring to help folks out that slogged through that hellish raid with me..not to tease people then just pass the item to my personal friend. Don't accuse me of that unless your sure of the situation. All they did was make me really mad, believe me they didn't teach me any life lessons about raid loot distribution.
