best part about this whole deal, it was EE so i was excited to get that checked off on my main...and i burned my first ever raid bypass timer..with only 8 hrs left on timer...for this epic fail

Did you at least try to reach the bottom ledge in the middle.

It's a true pike location, but once the group completes, portal opens to pop you back up to the top, or the other benifit is if you have a brave caster with Ddoor, he/she can also jump down to rescue you back to top.

frantically clicked on my FF boots but the same stutter lag that sent me off the side also slowed the gear swap till i was just out of reach of the island

First ever epic von6 i did was the worst.

Question posed to me (I was the dirty newb pugger at that point): Have you ever ran this raid?
My answer: yes (I HAD....just not epic, how different could it be right? stuff hits harder and has more hp..?)

so get to fire, and my acrobat jumps around un-fascinating everything in a mad frenzy of weak DPS. Eventually raid wiped due to this. Was a great day to be raiding i tell you what.
