Default Ginkgo-1, the singing kung-fu vampire robot

    Ginkgo-1
    Wizard 18 / Monk 2 / Epic 5
Fatesinger 5 (w/Dance of Flowers, Legendary Tactics)
    Warforged Champion
    Lawful neutral

    STR 52
    DEX 31
    CON 36
    INT 29
    WIS 22
    CHA 14

    Feats:
    1 Power Attack
    3 Toughness
    6 Cleave
    9 Great Cleave
    12 Improved two weapon fighting
    15 Greater spell focus: necromancy
    18 Improved critical: bludgeon

    Martial arts feats:
    1 Two weapon fighting
    5 Stunning fist

    Wizard feats:
    2 Quicken spell
    7 Spell focus: necromancy
    12 Maximize spell
    17 Extend spell

    Epic Feats:
    21 Greater two weapon fighting
    24 Overwhelming critical

Notes: Greater two weapon fighting can’t be taken until level 21 due to the requirement of BAB11. Maximize isn’t very useful, but not sure what would be better.

    Enhancements:
    Wizard Pale Master III
    Full acid line
    Power Attack line

    Gear:
    Head – Purple Dragon Helm
    Neck – Alchemist’s Pendant
Trinket – Planar Focus of Subterfuge (INT +8)
    Cloak – Cloak of Night
    Belt – Spare Hand
Ring 1 – Ring of the Stalker
    Gloves – Brawling Gloves
    Boot – Rock Boots
Ring 2 – Ring of the Buccaneer
Wrist – Bracers of Twisting Shade
    Docent – Docent of Shadow
    Eyes – Concordant Opposition

    Weapon – Grave Wrappings

    Alternate Gear:
Ring of the Master Artificer – for more SP or when you are alive
Bracers of Wind – for when you want Eladar DOT’s
Boots of the Woodsman – for fighting beholders

Note: no raid gear on this build (GS goggles built from DA loot). I think this is actually could be a pretty good starter solo build: self-healing/buffing, w/evasion, not much gear needed. The only rare item is the Docent, because you have to farm it during Mabar, but substitutes are easy to find. Maybe substitute the whole Purple Dragon set if you don’t have the annual event items.

Things I love about this build:
It sings. It floats. It tumbles. It teleports.
    Nobody knows what you are.
    Black Dragon Bolt.
    Acid Rain.
Otto’s Irresistible Dance (on anything w/o SR)
    Tenser’s Transformation 4:36.
Vampire touch, Wail of the Banshee, Energy Drain
    Wooo…. Woooo…. Woooo.. Stunning Blow. Woo…
Reign and Turn the Tide are crazy on a monk; they add damage on every hit, and a hasted monk with GTWF gets a lot of hits.
You don’t need any raid gear; perfect for soloing your way to level 25.
    What are you?

The tricky part about the build is getting the feats in the right order and meeting all the pre-reqs.

I'm interested in meeting other undead monks, comparing builds and maybe playing together on Thelanis (or Lama).

Nice Build, I have a 22 unarmed lich running GMOF and after taking a look at yours the strengths of fatesinger probably help a lot in some areas the build is not so great in(namely to hit). I am curious as to why you dislike maximize I find it to be helpful for bursts and dots, but I do not run with a boon to undeath item. You can take a look at my unarmed lich here: http://ddocrafting.info/index.php?se...ookup!&p=myddo

    Looks very cool!
Do you remember the starting stats?
After a little Tolkien I am usually up for anything.
