Freezing graphics problem

HELP! I am tired of this problem now and need it sorting...

I have just bought a new all singing all dancing PC with the following specs:

Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Processor i7-3770K (3.5GHz)
ASUS® SABERTOOTH Z77: USB 3.0, SATA 6.0GB/s
16GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz
500GB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD5003AZEX, SATA 6 Gb/s
Nvidia Geforce GTX 660

And yet I still have the same problem I was having on my old PC. That being 1 second freezes when switching from my conc opposition gloves. The issue is at its worst in epic ADQ when you touch the blobs that debuff and disjunct you. Total freeze for a second or two. This is daft when I am running such a high specced PC so there must be some way I can fix this issue.....

Ideas please!

P.S. everywhere else I am running perfectly. It is only in the two instances above where I have any problems with freezing or lag.

UMD lag is rampant. Disjunction makes a different roll on all your gear iirc too.

Does your conc opp have cha skills?

Yeah it does. Is this what causes it???

Yes. Every time your UMD score changes, every item in your inventory gets updated with a new percentage. Some time ago (I think in one of the patches before the expansion, but I'm not 100% sure), they changed something that made this process cause huge stutter.

There are two fixes to this. Either don't swap charisma/UMD items, or don't have many scrolls/wands that require UMD in your inventory.

Yes, if you're a rogue/bard/artificer, you're pretty much screwed.

This is infact ridiculous though... Devs you need to sort this nonsense out. I cannot change my whole gear setup just to move my C.O off my gloves slot so i can freely use my vile blasphamies to regen sp.
