Farming at level 12?

Hello folks,

Ok, I was unable to reach my goal this week and get to level 12 on my Helf/FvS. That is what happens when you die a bit and the wife has you go furniture shopping (a couple of times). Anyways, I should be getting to level 12 very quickly and I wanted to ask if there is anything I should be farming for?

I still have not decided what type of a FvS I’m going to be, but I would assume more melee. I want to get BB and see if that helps my game play. This is my only character past level 6, and first life. I have all of the tomes 4 waiting for me (recent purchase) so I might look to give myself until level 15 to get used to the magic and see what route I’m going to take. I might just get this guy to 20 and do a TR but we shall see. I might take advantage of the elf’s sword skills enhancements.

Anyways, I’m getting off track…. Should I be farming anything? Once I get to 12 I’m going to boost my items some, seems a good idea every 2 levels.

All depends on lots of factors

Are you following a build? Are you VIP or what packs do you have?

TBH, all the new random lootgen is pretty good now, check the AH for upgrades, some are pretty reasonable.

But lets see,

Shadow Crypt to upgrade your silver flame trinket?
You have your Voice from Deleras yet?

And really, there's not too much more without knowing how your character is built. And normally random rubbish is good enough (and im tired )

Really you only need to farm out raid gear, and even then; pretty much everything is outclassed by high level and easy to get lootgen.

Well, I am VIP and I have used tome of learning. I have +4 tomes waiting for me.

Right now I'm using longswords, but I can't really answer if I'll be staying with those. From level 11.5 - 15 I want to try combining both melee with spellcasting. I know that won't work as well at higher levels, but I believe that will get me to 15.

Ok, more awake now.

Run out to the orchid of the macabre & farm for tapestries from the rares in the explorer area (nice bit of xp and will net you your Minos Legens helm)

Be cheeky and run the lordsmarch chain to get the 3 piece set (you may have better gear already though)

Run cannith challenges for tunic, boots, cloak, trinket & ring (again, random loot nowadays may be better and easier)

There are a couple of nice caster items in the dessert rares (eg spell storing ring), some more in the tomb of the wizard king (can be daunting, be prepared for a long quest if solo).

There is another sp-regen item in the redfens, the defend the drow quest (I forget the name).

Not many good long swords until you get into raids or eveningstar, paralysing becomes more common around 12+ & can be a good choice.

Night forge bracers from relics of soviren past? Are good to have

Plannar gird from Xorian Cypher (so good but pita to farm sometimes, need a trap smith or good reflex & evasion).
