Default is monk past life feat working for animal forms?

not finding a definitive answer for this. I found where the issue with splashing monk levels was fixed so you didn't drop from 1d10 in wolf form to the base 1d6 of a monk.

but trying to confirm if the active past life monk feat granting the extra die step for unarmed attacks works in wolf form. and if it does, is it worth taking? I would like to go with a pure druid build and they are, obviously, very feat starved. but would think an extra die step could do more for your dps than PA over the long haul

many thanks if someone could help answer my questions

    Default anyone?

several views but no replies yet. trying to decide which of my characters will TR into a druid. choice would be between: monk, rogue, fighter, FvS or Wizard.

I don't see the FvS or Wizard past life feats being much of a benefit to a wolf form druid. the passives on the other three would all be useful but the purchased feat options for fighter and rogue would probably not be worth it.

the purchased feat for a monk past life might be the deciding factor. with the new system for monk die steps, it would gain + .5 die, going from 1[1d10] to 1.5[d10].

I don't have a paladin or barbarian close to 20, though their passive past life feats might be the best for a mainly melee druid.

feedback from anyone on which past life feats, passive or purchased, they found useful would be appreciated. thanks
