Seen this happen to but usually only when I use a burst after an aura or visa versa

Consider it compensation for the times when you click to turn your aura on, and nothing happens but the turn use is eaten anyway.

I don't think getting 2 turns back at a time is a bonus because it seems to take twice as long for them to regenerate as it used to, or at least that's how it seems to me. So you aren't getting an extra turn back, you are waiting twice as long to get anything regenerated.
I could be wrong because I haven't played a cleric in a while.
are you sure it's increasing 2 at a time?
what i've noticed is that my aura lasts longer than a minute, so if you're checking this by looking at the number each time you refresh your aura, every so often you'll actually have gained back 2 turns since the last time you activated your aura.

well, i have only one more bit of speculation.
i've noticed from time to time, when you get a virtuoso's healing song, that a single tick will be doubled. my speculation is that it's a crit, and that for some reason spellpower does nothing but crits work fine. so, if by some chance the turn undead recharge is able to crit (possibly requiring arcane lore to do so?), perhaps that is how you get 2 charges at once?
I know, for a fact, that sometimes spellsong vigor will heal 4, or 6, or in extreme cases, 92 spell points at once. It happens when a tick is lost to lag (usually server or internet connection lag, not client, and once I was in an extremely laggy instance of EE von 5, of course the lag appeared right at the end fight to wipe us and waste all our time but I saw spellsong vigor regenerate for huge amounts between very long lag spikes). By the way I had no arcane lore on that bard, possibly heal sonic and kinetic lore but that would be it. I believe all, or most, forms of constant regeneration work this way, so you don't actually gain or lose any more than normal, it just comes later.
So unless you're getting lag spikes longer than 2 minutes then it's not the same kind of thing. And if you are always getting long lag spikes before regenerating turns, you would notice
My level 14 cleric has been getting back turns 2 at a time since she took the prestige at 6 on this life.
But it takes forever. Again, I suggest that the 2 regenerating turns are not a bonus, but a delay in the time it takes to get a turn to regenerate at all.
I can confirm seeing regenerates by 2. Been playing my lvl 13 clonk (11 clc - 2 mnk so i only have burst yet) and for quite some time i've seen the regenerate by 2. And with quite some time i mean U14 or U15 (when the devs started fuddling with it). Not an odd regenerate, consistantly regenerating by 2 the whole time.
I think Galeria is correct, it does take a little longer for them to regenerate but when they do it comes double. Somehow i do like it, you're down to 1 turn, fight some more and oh look, i have 3 again now!
(and yes, maybe we shouldn't be talking about this out loud, eavesdroppers everywhere )
[EDIT: 1st lifer so no ED that can mess up, and no bard buffs cause i havent run with a bard in a while and still see the 2 regen]
