    Default Druid Weapon Choice

    Working on 13druid/6barb/1fighter
Feats are tight, so wondering-What weapons are there really for druids?
Going for maxed doublestrike, three natural fighting, improved shield mastery, running in wolf stance.
Need to know what imp crit i should get, or if the common concensus of 6 monk rather than barb is the best

EDIT:I realize now druidic oath only applies to shields and armors. I am stupid, and accept this, and have taken the proper disciplinary actions.

Well, if you are going to be in wolf form, your weapon is irrelavent, since the wolf has it's own "natural weapon". Basically, if you equip a metalline of pure good scimitar/dagger/rubber chicken as a human, then when you switch to wolf form you'll be wielding metalline of pure good wolf fangs/claws. You keep the magical effects, but the damage dice and crit profile change.

Also, more monk levels for evasion, extra feats, saves and dodge bonuses might be better for a wolf. Keep in mind that if you are going for max doublestrike and using a shield, you won't be able to use any monk abilities since you can't be centered while using a shield.

Wait, if I wear a shield and I morph into wolf form I won't have my Monk centered bonuses?? (wis->AC modifier and stances)

    No, I'm afraid not.

As a wolf (or bear) build, you basically have two options for boosting your doublestrike (apart from Natural Fighting feats): take both Shield Masteries and equip a wooden shield; OR make a Drunk and use Wind stance. The two approaches are unfortunately mutually exclusive (an uncentered Drunk can't use monk abilities, whether in human or animal form), so you need to decide from the beginning which you will follow. I think in the long run you'll get higher doublestrike from Shield Mastery (not to mention some PRR); but the Drunk requires no extra feats and gains Evasion & other monk goodies - a Drunken Wolf w/Stunning Fist is hella fun.
