Changing patron deity through reincarnation?

I have a 17th level Half-Elf Favored Soul of the Undying Court.

When I first created this character, a year and a half ago, I was a noob. I went with Undying Court for a religion because the Undying Call enhancement seemed good (get Raise Dead at 6th level instead of 9th).

Now, as I'm getting much higher level, and approaching 20th, I'm realizing I would rather have done things different. Different feats, different spells (and all that is time consuming and expensive to swap out).

The big thing is I would rather have gone with Sovereign Host for religion, not the least of which is the 20th level ability to have Cure Light Wounds at will (and Unyielding Sovereignty, as I play mostly as a soloist, Unyielding Sovereignty is far more useful to me than another Raise Dead at my level.).

I know I can change my spells, my feats, my skill points, my ability score points (another thing to change), but I don't know for sure if I can change what religion my character is, or if that has to be Greater instead of Lesser (I can't find any guide that says otherwise).

Can anybody help with information about changing religions for a character?

I am pretty sure that these are just enhancements, and may be reselected by resetting your enhancements. Though, if you are considering a lesser reincarnation too, you will want to perform that first as resetting your enhancements will be a part of that process.

Thats true for clerics, for FvSs the patron deity is a feat chosen at lvl1. And since they are a prerequisite for auto-granted feats at higher levels, Im about 90% sure Fred wont touch them and reincarnation is the only way to swap them. Talk to Fred first and see if the feat is in the selection though.

I already tried resetting enhancements, didn't work.

It's listed as a feat, but I've already tried going to Fred, yup, he won't touch the religion feat.

I just wanted to make sure before I blew the points on buying a reincarnation that it would actually work, and make sure I could do it with just a lesser reincarnation.

Unless you've already used it you should have one free lesser reincarnation no need to spend points.

Faith on FVS is a feat and you cannot swap those at Fred.
A lesser reincarnation will enable you to respec that.

About the deities:

SovHost seems to be the best overal.
The 1000pts healing (+ healamp) is very useful whenever it's off cooldown.
Great to heal warforged and to complement Heal.
The fvs capstone is a free cure light wounds, affected by healing metas and enhancements.

Silver Flame is an option as to capstone for light spec'd fvs, but I would always go for SovHost.

fvs deity is race restricted, so helf cant get the wf deity
at lvl 1 or so u decided ur deity, the 2 for everybody(silver flame and sovereign host) + half's deity

so you have to swap feat, not sure if lockania's swap feat would work(probably not)

if not use a lesser, to swap your points, feats, skills and spells, all in 1, there was 1 free if u haven't used yet

To change religions as a FvS requires a reincarnation once you are level 3, since the stacking pre-reqs on the feats means Fred can't do it.

Prior to level 3, you're probably just better off deleting and starting over.

Bear in mind that changing from Undying Court means you lose scimitar proficiency.

I didn't know I had a free reincarnation, that did the trick for me.

I kept scimitar proficiency, because of Half-Elf Dilettante: Fighter. That was another change I made (previously had Dilettante: Paladin), since having all martial weapons seemed like it would fit better with my play style (self-buffing, self-healing light tank). It also now lets me use a number of nice weapons I've found and couldn't use, like the Earthshatter Warhammer.
