Who's running Lord of Blades?

I've been trying to craft a alchemical scepter for my cleric and I noticed LoB runs have been a little scarce lately... out of desperation I even started a Epic Normal Run but to be honest I'm a terrible leader... we completed but it was a mess...

Is anyone running LoB regularly?

Got my wish and joined a random EH LoB run... but it was a total mess.. one Sorc lagged at the start and was left behind the barrier.. someone ran ahead and started the fight too early... Leader didn't have voice and I'm guessing we had more than a few first timers...

When we finally finished I had used 10 pots to keep us from a wipe.. and that's not even the worse part... All I needed was a Refined Water to craft my 2nd Tier (alchemical wisdom) and it looked like one of the fighters had it.. I sent him a /tell offering a +3 tome for it but he didn't respond... he seemed more interested in a Tier 1 ingredient that was up for roll. I sent a message in the party chat asking if he would trade and his response was that he's leaving it in the chest.. apparently mad that he didn't win the roll for the ingredient he wanted... before I realized it he had already left the quest...

The tome was just something in my inventory that could link real fast... I had plenty of other things I could have traded for if he had stayed around... I even had extra martial/mystical/greater power cells if he wanted something quest related... but now I'm down 10 pots and got nothing to show for it...

Join Tobril's "Defense" channel. There are players running it pretty often.

If you are unfamiliar with joining channels, just type /joinchannel defense

If you aren't in any channels it will default to userchat1.

That was a god-awful run. I'm honestly shocked it even completed.

No leadership, no clearly-defined roles, no explanations given to the people who had never done it before - the list goes on and on.

Sorry about your drinking 10 pots. If I was healing it, I would have not drank a single one. Runs like that don't deserve to complete. It should have crashed and burned from the moment that over-eager guy ran up and started the fight early, killing that poor sorc.

Pretty much no one runs LOB unless they need an alchemical. Most people have their alchemicals, so LOB pugs are commonly started by and full of desperate people that aren't exactly uber and never learned the raid well. This also means most people take the spirit instead of giving it away.

I see Annorah run LOB fairly often, but you have to be on at the right time and it tends to be EN, which I'm not sure drops anything but exquisite spirits.

Also, I know you're desperate, but blatantly trying to buy raid loot can tick some people off.

Also, burning pots on a bad group is your decision and doesn't entitle you to anything.

I'm planning to run it more and on a semi-regular basis.

Exact schedule is undetermined, but Wednesday nights
and weekends are looking promising.

I recently started trying to run it as often as I can, drop a line to Dystopia if I'm on, and unless I'm on timer (and am too low on TP for a bypass), you can probably count on me to drop what I'm doing and group up.
